QB coach or O coordinator. I'd take him in a heartbeat. Spurrier could be an amazing head coach with a little grooming. Get some veteran guys around him and he'll pick it up quick.

Ok so I guess the past two years with Spurrier was a mirage?

I think I've admitted Spurrier had more than his fair share of mistakes, but the guy is far from a football idiot. Put him in a system where he can concentrate on Offense only and get some good experience. He let Edwards control defense last year.

You believe everything the Washington Post publishes? I remember a few lies from the post as far as sports go.

I don't have to read the Post to see the joke of a coach Spurrier was.

I don't see any lies there, Spurrier often didn't know the names of his players and when he did he sometimes badly mispronounced them. He didn't put in the hours necessary, he did hang around the WR's and QB's and ignored the rest of the team, the gameplans were horrible, I don't get it, where's the untruths, Daseal?

Not sure i made myself clear, that article may have been true, but many articles out of the post weren't.

Spurrier needs another chance in a new town, hopefully he'll take it. I think he learned A LOT here, but since he wasn't strict enough, he could never be a head coach here again.

I think it'd be nice if we just put the Spurrier experience behind us. Yes, he knows football. No, he wasn't ready to be a head coach in the NFL. The question is does he even care to be.
