And with the line that we have, I wouldn't think it was out of the question for him to get 1600-1700+. He definitely has the amount of attempts required.
If we are going to have a rusher going for 1600-1700 yards then we should have one 1000 yard receiver and one around 900. A defense that is well rested and so on. I hope your right.

Brett Favre can't get Walker to report to mini-camp, but he's probably one of the best team leaders in the league....so it's unfair to say Portis isn't a good leader because ST is a headcase.
I'm not being a jackass, I just like people to think about their logic. :)

Like I said in my post before, you can be a good or even great leader and still not have EVERYONE be on board. Also, since we have no facts to go on about Taylor (besides that it's not about contractual obligations), we are all assuming away and it could turn out to be something very forgivable.
think about your own logic.:pi_lightb

if taylor was "staying away" for a reason or reasons that are forgivable , he would have returned gibbs' calls.
the reason he is not returning gibbs' calls is becouse he wants a new contract and he is to embarrased to talk to gibbs man to man about it.

Great point, I guess Favre's leadership is in question.

i for one am having some extreme outrage at the fact that twice nflnetwork.com has promised us a player on our cam yet twice they never delivered. they think they can tell us this and that and don't deliver, well they need to think twice. im gonna be sending them an email expressing my outrage. and get this, it said nothing about the carlos rogers and jason campbell feature on a preview of tomorrow's episode. the website and the show are on two different wavelengths. this is really pissing me off. everything else on nfl total access that has been described on nflnetwork.com happened, except for us. this is fucking annoying as hell. im sorry for cussing but right now im feeling extremely let down by a show that i thought had a good reputation.

Re: CP on NFL Network

Clinton Portis made his 1st and only mistake since joining the Redskins by even bothering to mention Sean Taylors name in an interview. Now it seems that the fans are going so far as to question the guys leadership qualities because he has`nt hog tied S.T. and dragged him to Washington for practice. They are both grown men... But only one is a professional. End of story.

Wanna point fingers in the Sean Taylor situation point to Sean Taylor and Drew Rosenhaus. Dont call out the guys that are doing everything right! Nobody got after Randy Thomas for " defending " Santana Moss. I mean if Santana doesnt return Gibbs next call are we gonna have a bash Randy party on the boards?

Seems to me like maybe the Tony Kornheiser article in the post had a little bit to much influence on most of you guy`s. I mean the whole Miami thing is getting overblown... Did T.O. go to miami? How bout that other Moss? or Jamal Lewis? Seems to me like the problems the Miami guys present their current teams are common among all players these days. And it boils down to one thing... M-O-N-E-Y!

This morning I was watching last nights show and they said it would be on. They even had a clip of Portis working out in the preview! That's messed up if he's not on. What a tease!
