he started 2015 1-2, 3 tds and 4 ints in those games.

he finished 9-7, 29 tds and 11 ints.
the thing is this schedule compared to last years 2nd half schedule is much much harder.

I mean we play CLE for 16 games Iam sure we are all going to think KC is the next great thing.

KC has won some games and put that nice string together against inferior teams. Name me one big game KC has one against a legit top 5 - 10 NFL team?

The worst scenario with KC is if he keeps being a flash in the pan here and there. Good enough to keep us from trying to upgrade the QB position but not good enough for us to reach the next level.

KC either shit the bed or do something great; us Skins fans ain't got time for your back and fourth shit.

Re: Plus and Minus - Cowboys Game

Positives:
Norman
Cravens (he looks like he might be one the best 10-20 players from the draft)
Matt Jones
O-line play (outside of C)

Negative:
Offensive play calling
Defensive play calling
Cousins

If Cousins has to throw the ball more than 20 yards down the field I honestly don't think he has any idea where it's going. And this hasn't got any better. I mean he threw the hail Mary out of the end zone for petes sakes.

We have no elite players in the front 7. A few solid players and then just some guys. I hope Preston keeps getting better, but we need to find a way to add some multi-year pro bowl caliber players to the front 7.

Worried about Cousins' confidence...watching how he responds will be crucial this weekend.

Schedule, schmedule! The schedule always looks different during the season than it did before the season due to injuries or whatever. Yes, we need to play better but, as far as I know, there is no rule against beating a team or two that is better than you on paper. There is even a week nicknamed "Upset Sunday".

We just lost a game we should have won - on paper. Now, we need to win a game or two that we have no business winning - on paper.

Agree 100%, this is my biggest fear, being mired in the limbo of mediocrity.

No need to mention the minus part , we all see them . Plus ....... Run Defense much better than vs Pitt . We ran well , need to keep pounding the rock . Norman , RJF and T Murphy looked good . So , yes we need some big nasty dudes in the trenches , a safety and a RB , so as bad as it looks at the moment , we can still build a team over the next yr or two . I don't see much hope for " this " year .

Re: Plus and Minus - Cowboys Game

The biggest positive is that Cousins is not signed for 6-7 years at $20 million per year.

Re: Plus and Minus - Cowboys Game

One other question about Cousins. How do you have so little feel for where you are throwing the ball that you throw the Hail Mary pass out of the end zone? Isn't the idea to throw a jump ball INTO, NOT OVER, the end zone so one of your guys can try to make a play?
You build an offense with the best weapons we've had since The Posse, and the QB is still the reason we lost. That's an indictment.

Even if Kirk plays like he's normally capable the rest of the way, have you seen enough at this point to doubt his poise?

If he's this shaky now, how will he play in the playoffs?

He's got 14 more games to get right, but man does he need to get right. The three missed deep balls were really bad. Crowder, Jackson, and I'm counting the underthrow to Doctson as a miss - on all three of them the WR had so many steps on their guy. They were so goddamn open it wasn't even funny. Still missed them.

That's not just bad QB play, it's the kind of QB play that loses you a game you should easily win.

I'm so fucking frustrated.
The throw to Doctson, oh my god!!! (i know i sound like a schoolgirl). The whole defense ran away from Doctson, and Kirk had time. That was crazy awful. That was no more or less than a preseason pitch and catch. Oh wait Kirk and Doctson didn't play together then... :(
To add on to what folks are saying..

Negative...Kory L play was better than week 1 from my eyes, but the penalties

Coaching especially on offense. Did anybody else think the ruled dropped pass by Dez(?) over the middle near the end of the game worth a challenge? It was close to a fumble imo

Co worker just shot me this stat, probably got off ESPN.com:

In the red zone this season, Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins has completed just five-of-17 passes for 34 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions and owns a 19.6 passer rating.

how about running the ball some in the red zone folks? Talking about where games are won and lost...
10 of those 17 were incomplete fades. bs
