Re: Washington trainer Ryan Vermillion on leave due to criminal investigation
JP Finley, Grant Paulsen and Julie Carey of NBC Sports Washington and WRC report that federal law enforcement agents raided the team’s facility last week.
Geez .. to the level they got a judge to sign off on a search warrant to search the local pro sports team facilities. If tied to his profession, most likely px writing abuse but who knows. Hopefully its victimless crime stuff.
This was my first thought as well. Robin Lehner (NHL goalie) was threatening a lot of NHL organizations on Twitter about their quote unquote "pill habits" for basically being pill mills and I suspect there might be several NFL teams that might be operating similarly. Wouldn't surprise me if Ryan Vermillion is one of the first to get nabbed for basically handing out scripts like candy. Feds aren't fucking around with that shit since that Angels pitcher died after OD'ing. |
Washington trainer Ryan Vermillion on leave due to criminal investigation
He's Rivera's guy.
Yes and Rivera is Snyders guy but I hear you. It is just that slime seems to have more room to play inside our walls. Alex Smith didn’t trust the guy. Robin West left because of him. Yet Snyder was oblivious…again. |

Yet Snyder was oblivious…again.
Oblivious? or trusting in Jason and Ron while trying to get out from under his own sleazy past. Lots of things wrong with Snyder, but personally I don't want him looking over the shoulder at every decision that Ron makes, maybe Jason or Martin Mathew should have been more aware of the situation and talked to Ron about it. People keep complaining when Snyder gets too involved and then complain when he doesn't have a 24 hour watch on every minor employee and what they are doing. Ron hired him, it was his responsibility. Part of the reason I think Ron is so sensitive about talking about it right now when the media ask, he knows that this one is on him and knowing and trusting Vermillion for more than 10 years is a personal let down for him |
Re: Washington trainer Ryan Vermillion on leave due to criminal investigation
Now you see you have made me defend Snyder and I need to go take a shower

Lol. I understand there are a lot of pieces, etc. But at the end of the day DS needs to be more involved with shit like this and less involved with shit like Dwayne Haskins. Use an anti bacterial soap for sure! |

Nah I'm with ED, I want my head coach to be able to hire an athletic trainer without Dan looking too much into it. *heading to the bathtub* |
Re: Washington trainer Ryan Vermillion on leave due to criminal investigation
I think we need to wait for some more facts to come out before all the finger pointing begins.

Where is the fun in that, game day threads exist mostly for finger pointing before the first quarter is done, what would this forum do with facts? |

Washington trainer Ryan Vermillion on leave due to criminal investigation
No finger pointing. Definitely a possibility that this guy was acting as a rogue employee. But after a while you gotta start looking at the Dan. We always wind up with the morons one way or another. Because where else are they going to go?
Alex Smith and Robin West had issues with this guy? It is the same old story. Good coaches, and good people move on while we hire losers and shifty shady shysters. Dan didn’t know about the sexual escapades. Dan doesn’t know about this dude. Dan didn’t know Dwayne Haskins was a bum. Lol. Seriously though Dan is either hiring the people or hiring the people who bring them in. There is no culture change here. Just a bunch of pr videos and bullshit. The guy is a snake and this organization will never be classy as long as a snake is in charge. End rant. |

DS isn't going sit in on every interview he hires the upper management its their job to fill their leaders. |
