Doesn't matter what party the president is, they have to do war stuff. Left or right, we will be involved in the middle east every presidential term.

Same reason the government does most of the stuff it does. Money. For them, not for us. Politicians and big-corp get to make a lot of money off this, at a cost of American lives and our tax-dollars.

I'm a bit confused how that was a takeaway from what I said. But no I do not think that.

It would be cool if a President ran on doing no executive orders.

Term limits for congress and no executive orders for presidents would be a good start.

But congress is absolutely useless. Would be a weird 4 years. Nothing would get done.

US Interests. What people don't seem to understand is the US is a world hegemonic power (and there can be only one) and has been since 1945. With that comes some baggage.
