Re: According to Yahoo The Rookie to watch this season is:
Gibbs would not have traded for a first round pick, and also drafted Campbell if he didnt think he was the QB that would work in his system and not Ramsey. With that being said, Ramsey is the guy for this year, atleast the start of it. But dont coutn on Ramsey getting a contract extension even if he has a great year.

Re: According to Yahoo The Rookie to watch this season is:
With all the skeptisism surrounding Jason Campbells low scores here are some things to consider:
McNabb, Donovan 1999 Syracuse 16, 12 Culpepper, Daunte 1999 Central Fla. 18, 21, 15 Marino, Dan 1983 Pittsburgh 14 Cunningham, Randall 1985 UNLV 15 McNair, Steve 1995 Alcorn State 15 And for those of you actually getting excited right now, here's your reality check.... Shuler, Heath 1994 Tennessee 16 |
Re: According to Yahoo The Rookie to watch this season is:
Not to mention Jason Maas and Todd Husak each 43.

Re: According to Yahoo The Rookie to watch this season is:
I think Campbell will get a lot of work in the PRE-season games.........but I picture Gibbs going to Burnell FIRST, if Ramsey falters..............
|
Re: According to Yahoo The Rookie to watch this season is:
Okay, Campbell is the rookie to watch??? not only does Ramsey have to tank it, but so does Brunell, and then Gibbs who is notorious for not trusting young QB's is going to hand over the team to a kid who didn't even show up on time to camp? Yahoo blows . . .:frusty:
