Re: XBOX 360 Release Date
i don't think so. and its certainly not "better than the conceptual E3 video" like EA promised.
it looks eerily like what ESPN2k6 would've looked like |

EA bought the ESPN license not the developers. but yeah the lighting and models look so 2K. nothing's been announced, maybe EA bought the 2K assets or some key guys on the team, they did have to develop two games this year. sigh i hate EA |
Re: XBOX 360 Release Date
While it would be nice to have an Xbox 360 right away, they will not have that many games out yet and it seems the only way to get 360 it is through pre-ordering bundles, which are even more ridiculously priced and will probably have 1 out of 5 games I might want. I'll just stick to my current Xbox for now. There's no shortage of games right now.

the bundles r just through websites of the companies selling them and from the looks of how they r put together u only save around $20 or so bucks especially @Gamestop where it looks like the money u save equates to u getting the warranty of the system for free. I know personally, the more screen shots I see of certain games, the more excited I get. The latest to peak my interest is a very very dark game called Condemned. |
Re: XBOX 360 Release Date
honestly though, the games will only look significantly better on an HDTV. a 360 on a normal TV wont be near the graphical jump from the last generation jump.
the games certainly won't play any better for a while. all the early games are simply high resolution versions of current games, and if you can't see all that resolution, you're going to be pretty disappointed. |
Re: XBOX 360 Release Date
Well, I have a HD TV that supports 720p and 1080i resoulutions. This new system is going to be incredibly good. It may take a few months for the game makers to figure out how to maximize the power of this thing, but I think if you have an HDTV, the shit will be leaps above what you see now.

HDTV is 4x as many pixels, so its going to take a LOT of extra cpu (which the 360 hopefully will have) to use it. |
Re: XBOX 360 Release Date
there are a handful of XBOX1 games that can do 720p. difference is night and day. and thats the minimum for all 360 games.

Re: XBOX 360 Release Date
Did you see the new screenshots for Tiger Woods 06 for the 360? Holy shit, it looks like you are there! I think this will just be incredible.
