Whatever his stopwatch time, he has REAL speed and seperation, he attacks the ball in the air and has superior, great great hands...AND big game experience. I don't care one way or the other about USC, but mark my words; Mike Williams will be a great pro WR.

there's all this hype about how he doesn't bring it in the workouts, but all that should matter is what he brings on gameday and he brings a world of talent. He's a playmaker both catching and running with the ball. He's not the most elusive guy but he has more than enough strength to fight through quite a few tackles and has huge soft hands for making both the easy and tough catches.

I think NFL corners will shut him down fairly well, they won't allow themselves to be bullied like the guys in college were.

there's no denying NFL secondaries are much more skilled and disciplined than those Mike faced in college, but facing triple-teams and scoring on any level is pretty amazing. he's going to be a much better player than Keyshawn, who some incorrectly compare him to.

David Boston is one of the most ripped people in the league, and hes pretty damn fast too. Williams should be able to dominate a lot of corner backs, he'll be a steal with a midfirst round pick. Its always the guys that seem complete but have one flaw that turn out to be the best. Jerry Rice... Randy Moss dropped to what, the 21st pick becuase of his attitude or whatever. He seemed to have turned out well. We'll see in a few years how this years crop turns out.

Tremendous physical talent, horrible attitude. Unfortunately, too many players fall into that category in today's NFL.[/QUOTE]
Sad but true! |
The only attitude he had last year was with the team trainer who kept accusing him of using steriods. He kept saying he worked out for hours a day at his own gym but they wouldnt beleive him.
