we got 1 good yr out of hall,he's been hurt since then and probably will get hurt again,plus his kickoffs are lucky to make it to the 10 yrd line,most of the time there about at the 15 yrd line,if we can get a kicker we need to get one,we definetly need a punter,if we could get a punter that kicksoff deep and can attempt the longer field goals,then maybe keep hall

He was top in the NFC in distance last year and third in the NFL. We did not release him so we must want him back next year. Hall is just fine as a kicker I just worry about his injuries. We need to look long and hard before we replace Hall because he is very dependable when we need a field goal in clutch situations. I cannot remember him missing a clutch kick except for last week but its not fair to put that one on him.

He's been injured and still isn't 100%. Pretty much obvious.

I dont blame last week on him at all,but he's been injured the past 2 yrs and him and tupa are getting up there in yrs,kicking is a big part of winning in the nfl and they are not dependable,in Halls 1st yr here he probably makes that kick,but injuries are catching up to him,plus Tupa was ok,not great,but definetly better than who we have now,i think we should have utilized tupa better,he's an x-qb,we should have tried some fakes with him

Tupa is younger than Sean Landeta (43) (just signed by the Eagles) and is as old as Jeff Feagles. That's the thing about Punters and Kickers...they don't take the abuse like other players, and end up with long careers. A solid veteran punter can take you a long way. However, there are only a handful of punters that handle kickoff duties...

Hall will be fine. He missed a 52 yarder into the wind, and we're ready to write him off. Up until that kick, he had hit everything this year.
