I'm glad they sent him there...he needs practice and he should be able to do really good there. They also sent Aki Jones and 6 others
playing for a spot on someone else's roster |
Re: Antonio Brown sent to NFL Europe
betts does not return punts. thrash can do it, but he lacks speed and moves now
thrash is only a fair catch returner at this point |
Re: Antonio Brown sent to NFL Europe
Do you guys think he earns a roster spot this year? Or does Randle El take his spot permanently?? Wut about Jacobs and Thrash?? I think we should keep Thrash, he's a great special teams player. Thoughts.....

With Randle El here I really don't see where Antonio Brown fits in. |
Re: Antonio Brown sent to NFL Europe
i agree. and with the addition of all these younger players, antonio might not see a skins uniform again.

Re: Antonio Brown sent to NFL Europe
Brown will be the odd man out, there's no way he earns a roster spot in '06.

Re: Antonio Brown sent to NFL Europe
if anything im pumped about, im pumped about the fact that we arent hiring old players past their prime, were hiring people just about to peak.

its much easier on the cap too. not as cheap as drafting, but its a bit safer. |

Apparently 30 million dollar deals are easy on the cap. |

even in the first 3 years, they count 3mill a year. a 2nd round draft pick gives you 4 years at under 1mill per. |

so why isnt antonio brown in NFL Europe? not that it really matters much anymore anyway because he will probably be cut, but for some reason he's not on there |
Re: Antonio Brown sent to NFL Europe
maybe the lists aren't updated yet, i'm not really sure.

Re: Antonio Brown sent to NFL Europe
I hope good things happen to Brown. He probably needs the NFL more than anybody in the league right now. He has lots of motivation to make this thing work.
His life situation is bigger than football. I hope he gets a roster slot somewhere in the NFL. |
