Randel El should toss a TD pass to Moss on an end-around after being handed the ball by Portis. :)

Ok, maybe we should save that for Dallas.

I'd be happy with a 75 yard TD run by Portis.

Re: New thread: First offensive series, first play, whats the call?

Starting at the Redskins 10, as Rabach snaps the ball to Brunell, Cooley throws hundreds of boat cruise tickets up in the air. As the Vikings dive on the ground for them Cooley slips away and catches a 10 yard hook then laterals it to Portis who runs it about 30 yards before pausing to do a Heisman pose then hand it off "statue of liberty" style to Santana Moss who takes it another 20 yards who laterals it to Joe Gibbs (yeah he suits up) who takes it in for the touchdown

either that or screen pass to Randle El

Joe Bugel strips on the sideline, but for some reason the only one who is distracted is Jeff Garcia.

You see? This is why I'm posting on message boards and not coaching in the NFL

Well, first of all we will already be up 7-0 due to a sack by Carter returned for a TD by Sean Taylor on the first series.

First offensive series being up 7-0, Portis right with big ol Randy Thomas pulling for 6-8 yds.

I DO see Johnson getting absolutely annihilated by our defense this game.

Play action pass ... Moss , Lloyd and El are decoys....Cooley runs free down the seam for a wide open pass from Brunell...play yields 28 yards
Dont you have to give Doug Herzog like a thousand dollars or something for saying Touchdown Washington Redskins. haha j/k
not to bust balls, but it's Frank Herzog, and he's still 100 times better than Larry Michael.

Split backfield (Portis, Cooley), trips left (Moss, Randle El), TE lined up on right side.

Motion into I formation.

Play action the counter trey into a bomb thrown to either Moss (Fly pattern) or Randle El (Post pattern) for 6.

Shotgun, Trips right. Moss on the left. At the snap;

Lloyd runs a Hitch while the other WR's clear out. As Campbell delivers to Lloyd on the hitch, moss runs a drag behind Lloyd (from the left). Lloyd latterals it to a sprinting moss who is followed by a delayed portis as an another latteral option. Touchdown.

The ole' Hitch 'N Pitch WR option. Sickest play ever.

I tried to make it subtle, but I do think Campbell has a better chance.

Didn't want to stir up another QB debate, but imagine Campbell in preseason w/ our weapons on first string. It makes me salivate.

Re: New thread: First offensive series, first play, whats the call?

i would have to go with randle el taking a good opening return to the 50. Then sean taylor checks in they throw the ball up and he grabs it at the 20 and bull dozes two people to get in the endzone
