If I'm a defensive coodinator, I don't approach the '06 Skins any differently than the '05. The threats are still the exact same players. I sit back in whatever I play, blitzing every once in awhile, making sure to jam Santana at the line, and not giving him, Cooley or Portis anything easy. I'd make the newcomers beat me.

Brunell will find them. It's up to them to make plays.

Sounds like more of archie sticking up for the youngest son, and eli having the same attitude he does every year, the nothing fases him attitude, well thats fine with me because personally i would rather have a quarterback with a killer instinct and a leadership role.

Exactly, the only person that they could find to talk about his great attitude and big media handling abilities was the proud (rightfully so, I will concede) papa?

:food-smil It looks more like the foam is touching, not the cups. :oink:

Besides, it's called "Food Smiley" so that must be bags of popcorn. They're checking to see if the other guy got more popcorn.

I think they're cupcakes. Popcorn doesn't make people that happy.

I'm really hoping you're a real NFC East Defensive coach lurking on our site looking for secrets.

That approach will get a team blown out of a game. It's easier to cover one midget receiver and a TE than it is to cover 3 or 4 WRs and a TE without letting the best RB in the NFL have wide open holes to run through.

I'm not sure there is a way to stop us, we have too many weapons.

If you want to let the new guys beat you...they WILL.

I hope the Cowboys and Giants take this approach. The Eagles aren't going to have a chance so I'm not worried about them. They could sign the Incredible Hulk and they'd still lose to us.

I think you nailed it! Coordinators will adjust to what the Skins have proven they can do, not what they have on paper or who Portis dresses up like next week. The threats are indeed there, that's undeniable. But Brunell is the lynchpin to this entire offense.
We live and die with his performance in '06.

I forsee the defense winning, perhaps, two or three games tops, but I don't expect us to throw our cleats onto the field and defensive coordinators start running for cover. Just aint gonna happen.
After Brunell, I think Portis is the other major player. It's possible he will need an even bigger season in '06.

That's hilarious. Watch T-New( SI's all-pro starting cornerback), Anthony Henry(CBSsportsline.com's #1 ranked DB up until Week 8 last year when he got injured), Roy, and Keith Davis fuck up the Forskins receivers.

I love how you had to qualify all of these things. Well, if he hadn't gotten hurt. If he hadn't this, if he hadn't that. LIVE IN THE NOW SON. Speaking of fucking up, I have some quality footage of Ladell Betts running Terrence Newman over like he was Micheal Pittman's wife. Shall I find it?

I can also find some of Santana and Cooley both making dallas' secondary look like a couple of prison bitches.

OH, OH, but remember how the Cowboys beat the Redskins like thirteen games in a row!?! (I know that's coming next) If it's not one thing, it's another. If you're going to fire with ammo, fire with current events.

There's no need to justify anything because we all know what's gonna happen this year whether or not u want to admit it. I don't live in the past either. Last year is the past now so none of it matters. Santana's not even a fuckin receiver. All he does is catch screen passes and run behind blockers or sprint as far as he can and catch a ball. He's not a receiver he's a runner. We'll see what the fuck happens September 17. Cowboys' and T.O.'s first home game, Sunday Night Football, and some mother-fuckin revenge for shooting ourselves in the foot last year.

Yeah, when they don't want to remember the ass pounding they got last year, they'll bring up stats from years and years ago.

Yeah, I would argue that a lot of people in the NFL are runners. Clinton Portis sucks so bad even HE is a runner. Damn runners. They should go be track stars or something.

I would call that pretty damn good teamwork wouldn't you? Maybe if the Cowboys could have STOPPED those stupid screen passes and got around those STUPID blockers (rather than getting trampled by them) they might not have gotten embarassed TWICE. Next.

Re: Can any Secondary slow the skins down? NO.

Nope Clinton Portis is a football player. He runs, blocks, hits, catches. He does everything. Santana Moss is a little 5 foot 9 pussy who needs to catch a ball all alone on the outside and just sprint behind blockers.
