We just don't need to begin down the road of that Cowboys fan that we banned yesterday.

LMFAO. I'm going to go ahead and say that if you don't think this is funny, you are gay.

No, He in't!!! Oaktown Red ain't me!! But really, I don't think the he's gay stuff is funny. call him a fat arrogant bastard. I don't care who anyone sleeps with. But as said earlier, Maybe he takes the mantle of play calling to avoid any TO trouble.
Could be true, but i don't think parcells would do that. I think his ego is bigger than T.O's and so is his rep. He probably thinks he has handled hard heads before, and he will handle this one... |

I feel like TO is a different type than most guys though. I'd love to see this approach blow up in the the tuna on rye's face. |
Re: Parcells may call plays
Honestly, I think TO really does enjoy playing the game as long as he can be in the spotlight. I truly have a feeling the honeymoon will last all season at the very least. Because it's pretty obvious if he screws around, the Cowboys will be the LAST team he plays for.

Re: Parcells may call plays
That's my thinking as well. TO will probably be out due to physical injury before he gets put down because of his personality.
|
Re: Parcells may call plays
Yeah I really don't see him being the "poison" that people are predicting this season. I'm not saying that the Cowboys will be any better because of him either. Vanderjagt was their best free agent pick-up in my opinion. I mean, Terry Glenn is still on their team isn't he ? He's good for a couple of drops anyway, or should I say passed on passes.

Nah, the Raiders haven't given him a try yet. I'd LOVE to see Owens and Randy Moss on the field together. We'd have a new hit comedy show. |
Re: Parcells may call plays
I seriously wonder what Greg Williams and the Defense coaches think about Tuna calling the plays from the sideline, kind of rare these days.
On our side, I assume Saunders will be in the booth. As for the pics, I laughed. |

[/quote] How about he's calling the plays because he doesn't trust anyone else to do it. Remember he used to shit on Sean P when he was in Dallas if he didn't like the playcalling. I think he doesn't have faith in anyone else doing it which is cool because he's can make those kind of decisions. |
Re: Parcells may call plays
Hopefully his play calling, demands Bleedslow to move, thus, making any play end before it starts. TO will be fussy, Bill will eat, Grass will grow around Bleedslow and Shane Matthews will come out of nowhere for a couple of laughs.

That's some hilarious humor. Very nice.

You are probably right, he talks about how when he came into the league, experienced coaches told him not to let an assistant have total responsibility over the offence or defence because they don't have a feel for the way the entire game and team is going. |
Re: Parcells may call plays
So 5Rings, in all seriousness, are you glad to see Parcell's calling the plays from the sideline (if he really is going to)?

Two things on that, 1) I don't think Parcells was very far from the play calling last year. Payton was on a short leash. 2) I don't mind because his reputation of being a run run run run coach isn't totally true. He'll go gadget and he'll throw the ball. But he will always always always try to establish the run. Brud I am not sure where your comment about going back to the eighties for our offence comes from, but you guys run a TON of two TE offence, and will continue to do so.... |
