Obviously, from reading the posts by Redskin fans after last week's preseason game, we are all concerned...a little, but it really is about evaluating young talent and getting back into "football shape". Why JJ has more burst, elusivness and speed, Marion has more toughness and can get the tougher yards that's why they are starting to use him in goaline and short yard situation.

Marion has improve a lot since last year and it's really pushing JJ for playing time but JJ it's still the starter I believe that they will share the carries but if JJ starts getting games like Carolina ans Seattle last year the amount off carries in that game would change

JJ scares me more than Barber. He hits the hole hard and runs downhill. Hate to admit it, but he's a stud runner who has gotten better every year. I think our D Line can contain him due to the fact that your O Line isn't what it used to be.

It could just be Parcells mind tricks, but I've heard some rumors that he ain't so crazy about Jones. Doesn't think he's tough enough.

It's this from the same reliable sources that say that Romo will be starting ahead of Bledsoe because of a preaseson game, or that TO is faking his injury or the same media that it's making a big fuzz of TO hamstring but you don't hear a nothing about S.Smith and Ward's Hamstring and why they aren't playing also.

Different sources.

When Smith or Ward calls one of his QBs gay, refuses to report to a team he is traded to, criticizes the team he then asked to be traded to, calls out that team's QB and says someone else would be better there at QB, when they do all those things then maybe a bigger deal will be made out of them missing time.

Sum it up TO sell's newspapers S.Smith, Ward doesn't

and because of that there are more rumors and stories in dallas then normal specially in a slow TO Day.

T.O. is cancer. Dallas is infected. As much as the media is reporting it, it doesn't change the legitimacy of it.

He's an amazing athlete, an amazing receiver, and an apocalyptic teammate.

I'll definitely agree that the media is the one creating this whole shit-storm. TO can thank all the stuff he did for PR back in Philly for what is most likely going to be the untimely demise of his team chemistry. Regardless of how "good" he is being, the media will take every little thing and blow it up. It'll have players taking sides, calling each other out, calling coaches out and calling TO out.

This was coming no matter how much of a model citizen TO was being. If he took a piss and didn't wash his hands, you know we'd hear about it and the media would make something of it. If things wouldn't have blown up so much in Philly, these issues wouldn't exist today. Nothing will ever be the same for him, no matter where he goes. He's going to have to set RECORD-BREAKING numbers this year to get people off his back.

And unfortunately for him, we're already reading about players taking Parcell's side and some taking TO's side. This has put Parcells is a REAL dilemma because he has to please Owens at the risk of alienating the rest of the team with his special treatment of Owens.

It's not huge, but no one can deny it's happening.

And 819 in 2004? Sure, you can say his YPC is a pretty number, but the whole beauty behind Mangina status is that he has yet to play a whole season. Hence, the name. Mangina.

Actually, the poor showing is a blessing in disguise. It woke the coaches up and they, in turn, are making sure the players are better prepared and taking things more seriously. This couldn't have happened at a better time - still 2 more pre games to go to correct any problems.

We don't need to panic at all or worry too much about performance right now. The only thing to worry about is injuries.

We will be fine come September against the Vikes.

993 yards is most definately NOT stud status. i mean, rueben droughns (sp?) had 1,200 ON THE BROWNS. 1,500 on the other hand...
