Re: Colts/Giants
Jacobs is scary. No doubt about that.
This Brandon Jacobs has looked pretty damn good. I got a feeling we're all going to get to know his name well in the future.
TJ has been doing what Jacobs is doing down in ATL. |
Re: Colts/Giants
Come on Colts. 3rd down hold em
|
Re: Colts/Giants
Int hahahahahaha
|
Re: Colts/Giants
Aw man that was right on time and needed
|
Re: Colts/Giants
1st down close it out
|
Re: Colts/Giants
I've thought overall the Giants look ok, nothing great though of course they are playing a good colts team.
Manning is erratic as hell. One minute he looks like his brother, the next mintue he looks like Brunell 2k4. I know he's still young nad everyone will throw some bad passes, but he's going to have to start taking more heat for these decisions. The Giants secondary has looked somewhat suspect as well. Again its the Colts, so its hard to tell because its probaboly the best passing league in the team. Their defensive line looks good. |
Re: Colts/Giants
They ran all day. Corey Simon was out and I dont believe the Colts defense to ever been better than average. Giants O-line held protection. Giants had way to many false starts and penalties to win any game.Jacobs is a huge man child I hope TJ brings the same thunder. Here we go final Giants drive 1:06 remaining hold them here

Re: Colts/Giants
Wow. The Colts running game looks like a big steamy pile of negativity. They won't be able to win a lot of games if they don't have a running game.
|
Re: Colts/Giants
hahah shockey

Re: Colts/Giants
Now that, ladies and gentlemen, is how you DON'T want to run a 2 minute drill!
|

Oh god that was awesome.

Can you believe that?? Eli just spiraled out of control and I love it Theres never been any ladies here |
Re: Colts/Giants
Jeremy Shockey should have played in Dumb and Dumber! What an asshole!
|
Re: Colts/Giants
Manning....is really not very good. He needs to start growing the hell up, in my opinion.
Eli, I mean. |
Re: Colts/Giants
I'm kinda disappointed that this wasn't a shootout between the Colts and Giants, i wanted to see some big plays and high scoring. Instead, both Mannings looked pretty average, nothing special.
|
Re: Colts/Giants
Peyton Manning reminds me of a politician right now.
|
Re: Colts/Giants
Listen to Peyton spread this bologna about Eli. America knows the truth and who ever was crying about the Manning Bowl Hype well have a seat and enjoy Giants are 0-1. F*** yea

Colts were decimated with injuries. I wonder how they plan on getting by with zero running capability. |
Re: Colts/Giants
I've had enough of the Manning hype for one day, I'm going to bed.
|
Re: Colts/Giants
Me too, but Im having sweet dreams tonite, holla

Re: Colts/Giants
Colts are going nowhere this year. Where's the D? They'll lose their first game of the playoffs yet again.
Giants should've won today, given how piss poor the Colts run defense was - shot themselves in the foot with penalties. Brandon Jacobs is a monster. Mr Nichols from the school of hard knocks was a non-factor today, but then again, so was Freeny. Is Freeny playing injured or something? You could've called him Mrs Petitgout tonight. I noticed and called this last year as well - I can understand players demanding noise from the crowd, but there is somethign pathetic about a head football coach motioning for the crowd to get loud? Could you see Tuna, Gibbs, or Reid, or any other head coach do this? |

They had Rhodes and Addai, which were supposed to be their top two backs. I don't think many linemen were injured either, so their running game can't be blamed on injury. |
Re: Colts/Giants
Maybe I watched a different game than most of you, but I thought both teams looked pretty good on offense. Indy has no running game, but so what...they still have Harrison, Clark, and Wayne. They put up the scores necessary to win. Tiki looked unstoppable and Eli, other than the one really bad pick and average at best clock management, looked pretty solid. I wouldn't want to face either one of these teams right now, but that's just me.

Just proves, LaVar is more into himself than he was leading on. I think he had one or two tackles tonight. Good luck with Mr. Nichols Giants fans! |

Well if you shut down the Colts passing game, and force them to beat you by running, we might have a good shot at winning the game. |
Re: Colts/Giants
OK Giants looked so-so. They showed some flashes and clearly have some play makers. The season is on the D and Manning. Barber, Burress,Shockey will get the job done when needed. Didn't hear LA's name much tonight. I guess he didn't get hurt so there was no reason to talk about him.
As for the Colts. Color me unimpressed. No running game against what is not really a stingy run D and the Colts D looked like sh*t. Let's be honest if their D is like that they'll win 10 games with a 12 win offense. Sad. Manning can't do it all. |
Re: Colts/Giants
Nice try getting Kate Mara to do the national anthem again. Didn't work like a charm this time.
|
Re: Colts/Giants
Just glad to see an NFC east rival go down. Gints running game looked very good--that's a concern. But if you can presure Eli, he does get rattled. Colts looked mortal, but the season is young yet. Peyton doesn't really need a running game, but they do need a D, and teams won't beat themselves every game.
PS Much as I hate the gints, they got hosed on the offensive PI call. Couldn't have happened to a nicer bunch of putzes though... |

Giants look the same to me as last year. Great run game, but secondary is still vulnerable but improved with Mcquarters and Madison. Not looking forward to playing them in NY. As far as the Colts, I just can't see them getting over that hill. Don't know what it is, they got a great team, but they need to change something or continue to lose in the playoffs. |
Re: Colts/Giants
colts wont get over the hill u are right, not if their running game is like this...

Re: Colts/Giants
the colts sure miss edge...

Re: Colts/Giants
The Giants have a good run D. Even with Edge they may have been shut down last night.

Well, with Peyton, it'd not hype. Eli's praise is all as fake as Velveeta "cheese" though. |
Re: Colts/Giants
I like velveeta cheese better than eli :)

The DoubleNichols, school of hard knocks, I thought was pretty funny. I know you think its because of login name, but if it was someone else I would have thought it was just as funny. Those guys, always try to come up with something that if there own. Some one started the "U" thing, then its "the" infront of every school now. then its giving their High School some cred. I have no problem with guys trying to be original or funny when introducing themselves. I thought physically, #55 looked pretty good. He got some pressure here and there, and was cover Dallas a lot, pretty much all night when he was on the field. I went to bed, not sure what kind of stats Dallas had other than the TD catch, when Stahan was covering him (what the hell was that about) I still think the O has the ability to put some points up. The D will get better for G-men over time. they have a new secondary and a couple new LBs. as the year goes on, thats the team we are going to be trying to beat out for the division. |
