I had a dream once in which I was fully aware that I was dreaming. When I tried to fully wake up I couldn't. I don't know what the hell was happening but I was completely paralyzed. Trying to move your limbs and not being able to is some scary shit.

I have those alot, and most of them are about sex lol. Usually I met a celeb who is really horny, and I know I have thought "hey I should just have sex with her" during the dream, and sure enough it happens.

Crazy thing is, couple times I have woken up from those, and gone back to sleep making myself think about those thoughts, and sure enough I fall back into that same dream with full control.

It is like playing a porno video game in your sleep.

They tell [I][B]me[/B], [/I]atleast. I have always been a sleep walker/talker. I do it just about every night. Kinda freaks out other people when they first witness it.

I've woken up outside several times and countless times in various places in the house. Usually when I wake up, it takes a few minutes for my mind to enter 'reality' so I sometimes continue trying to do the stupid things I was trying to do before waking up. For example, I woke up one time looking for snakes in my room. It took me a minute or two to realize that there really weren't snakes in my room and that I should go back to bed. My wife told me that I was pacing our bedroom one night cheering the skins. She said I kept saying "50, 40, 30, 20, 10!!!". For some reason, I never feel like I get a full nights rest. :smashfrea

I've awken looking for a sabertooth tiger that was looking at me through my windo... I looked out and was really confused. It took me several seconds to go through the thought process of

A) Siberian Tigers are extinct
B) I live on the second story, so even if it wasn't extinct, it wouldn't have been looking in my window.

I myself have been known to do strange things in my sleep.Although I have never gotten up and walkled around I have said and done many wierd things in my sleep.
For example I have sat up in bed and said "nice shoes, no clothes"? I have also been known to talk some straight up jibberish and when asked what the f I just said,I would say the exact same jibberish as before.As if my mind and mouth were just not connected.
Another time I was slipping in and out of a dream and would say something that was related to my dream but totally unrelated to reality like "Hey man, dont sit on that plastic fork".
More recently I have been waking myself up doing this ungodly moan that I cant even do when I am awake.It is such an unnatural sound that it scares the shit out of me.I dont ever remember my dreams so I have no clue what makes me do these things but it is kind of embarasing to wake up my girl that way and have no explanation for it.

When I'm having a bad dream I tend to make these strange huffing noises where I breath in and out really fast through my mouth. I told my wife a long time ago if she hears me making these noise to wake me up.

Recently I had a weird episode where I was having a bad dream and I started making these noises, but I was in that half awake/half asleep state. So I could actually hear myself making these noises, but I couldn't actually wake up, and my wife wasn't waking me up. So I told myself to be louder and the whole time I'm thinking, wake me up, wake me up! She eventually did, it was really weird.

I've recently becomed kind interested in lucid dreams, and the practice of acheiving them and I've had some mild success. Here's kinda a cool link to anyone that's interested.

Kinda weird, but cool aspect of lucid dreaming I just encountered. In one of the websites it was listing methods of attaining lucid dreams. One method was, while your awake, to constantly re-assert yourself that your not in a dream.

As crazy as it sounds, I decided to give it a try. Five or six times a day I'd make sure I wasn't dreaming (turn the light switch on and off, because basic devices won't work in a dream... check the time, wait a few seconds, check it again, if it was the same, your not dreaming... etc).

It worked, I was able to realize I was in a dream. I quickly got distracted and the regular dreamin resumed, but I gained some ground.

Cool stuff for a bored college student to try other than binge drinking.

Nice, it does take some work but it's definitely worth the effort.
