Just got back from dog fish head, and man, theit 60 min IPA could possibly be the best beer I've ever tasted. I drank about 3 of those bad boys, and then headed down to zodiac (where last mango used to be in the kentlands) where my brother bar tends.

I polished off a few G&T's and will sleep like a baby tonight.

on a side note. The Hummus at DFH was delicious. I may have found my new favorite restaurant.

I don't mind getting sloshed every now and then, but I hate being handicapped. If you drink to the point where you can't take care of yourself it sucks really bad.

My girlfriend gets really annoyed when I do that.

We've been dating for 4 years and she still refuses go out to a bar with me. If I'm there on my own, I never want to get wasted, but the second she's there I'm in some sort of comfort zone and feel the need to get belligerent.

I suddenly realize

A) I've got a ride home
B) I've got a [I]ride [/I]home
C) I've got someone to wake me up so I can get shit done the next day
D) If I don't have enough money, I just get my sugar momma to cover for me.

Man, True love is amazing.

(I'm just joking about everying.... sorta)

I make my sugar momma go out with me. And my wife is on standby taking care of my kids at the house. Like I said "I keep my pimp hand strong!"

Wanna know something weird? They don't sell 40's in Florida.

When I first moved here, and people told me this, I actually thought they were just talking out of their asses. Eight years later, I have never seen one for sale, and a friend of mine goes up to Georgia to get them. Of course, I haven't been to every beer shop in the state, but I have been to quite a few. Can anyone else living in Florida confirm this?

It's just as addicting too. I can't miss a day without a cup (or 3).

I have a similar story. I use to live on a busy street in Cranston, RI, weel my buddy and I got really drunk one summer night and passed out in the front lawn. I woke up at like 5 am and went in (I forgot he was out there as well, still drunk). Long story short he got arrested for public intoxication. He was not to happy with me. Oh well I just happen to wake up to car horns before him.

Everyone at my school drinks sweet tea. It is insane. I had never realized it was that big in the South, and I am only two hours from Northern VA.

It's put in our baby bottles from birth. Everyone drinks it. The first time I traveled outside the South (Kansas City) and ordered "tea", I was like what the hell? Why is this unsweetened? I thought everyone drinks it like we do. Down here, it you order "tea" it will be sweet.

I couldn't drink that stuff for about 4 years after a bad incident with the Captain during my senior year of high school. Now I consider Captain and coke to be a nice and smooth drink. I still prefer Jack and coke, but the Captain is right behind that.
Likewise, drinking beer used to be like torture for me because of the taste and now I want to start my own microbrew company and I consider myself a beer-snob.

I drank a ton of Captain back in my college days, I just got sick of it, still can't drink it even now.

I'm mostly a beer guy, but when I go the hard route I like gin and tonics, seven and sevens, VO and seven, vodka & cranberry, or margaritas.

Captain is probably my favorite shot. I did 21 of 'em on my 21st birthday. I was definitely sick of Captain after that for several years.

But I don't so much do shots anymore. I too stick to beer, but if I get away from beer, I go for a vodka martini.
