I honestly would just pay off my bills, all of them ($220k or so), buy a brand new Corvette, and invest the rest so I would never have to work again, other than own my own business.

I do but with $1M in the bank I'd go back and do something fun, maybe cooking school so I could open my own joint.

I gotta tell you, after I got my masters, I breathed a huge sigh or relief, cause I knew I'd never have to do that again.

ps- owning / operating a restaurant is a stressful thing. Trust me on this one. I actually quit Chili's not too long ago because of it. It also hurt that my boss would rival anyone for worlds worst boss. I did it for a couple years, and I was good at it, but the constant long hours and inconsistant hours, plus the ineptitude of employees were very stressful. I am actually going to be the new GM for Alltel and I'll make about 15k more a year than at Chili's and work at least 20 fewer hours a week. I have off all this week and don't start til the 1st. What a stress load off my back!

I've heard they give away tickets for NASCAR. Ryan Newman drives the Alltel car. I've never been to a NASCAR event...that would be fun. But I am a Jeff Gordon fan, so to wear Ryan Newman clothing might not be in me.

1 mil tax free ~invest, I know some vehicles and because I do this stuff for a living I could live of the commisions and residule for a month or 2

Pay off the house and car, buy one or two McDonald's and hire some dude to be the manager.

Either that or I'd seriously consider giving out 10k to 90 needy families and keeping 100K for myself to invest.
