Re: **UPDATE**: Vick Not Likely to Be Indicted Following Raid
Even if they had something it wouldn't be anything that a high priced lawyer couldn't fix.
I would be absolutely shocked if he misses more than a few hours of camp.
I don't think he'll miss anything. These investigations take forever and a day for anything to pop up. He'll be playing this year and the media will ask him after every tough loss "so do you think your off the field issues are causing a distraction"...and all of us will be yelling at the TV...NO IT'S CAUSE HE CAN'T THROW FOR SHIT. |

Wow, that's a stretch for the Falcons...and to have the name SHITA is not good. LOL. |

Falcons could break Vick contract
Posted: Tuesday July 10, 2007 07:46AM ET On that giddy day in December 2004 when the Falcons signed Michael Vick to a 10-year, $130 million contract, Arthur Blank gushed: "He's a Falcon for life." Vick's contract, though, is not nearly as binding as the Falcons owner's words suggested. If, theoretically, the Falcons wanted to trade or release their embattled quarterback, his contract would not necessarily preclude it. The biggest hurdle would be the impact against the team's salary cap, but that impact, although still hefty, shrank as of June 1. The hit would be $6 million-plus for 2007 and about $15 million for 2008. Atlanta Journal Constitution |
