Gaither is an ABSOLUTE STEAL in the 5th round, IMO. Having been around the MD football locker room a lot, i can say from personal experience that the guy is a beast and just plain physically imposing (exactly what u want from a OT). The skins could definitely have used him in a few years when he will be ready to play in the league and our guys will have been pretty old. Its a great pickup for Baltimore to replace ogden and I hope he makes it but if he gets released i hope he can try out over here in Washington later. I'm glad that he gets to stay in the area though.

Its a shame that we throw away day 1 picks as after thoughts but are stingy with our day 2 picks, when we could have really used this guy for a 5th round pick.

Many other teams must have passed over Gaither as well, so should we be questioning their decision making as well?

IMO, I'm glad we passed on Gaither.

There's a reason alot of teams passed on him, he's going to take quite a bit of time to get up to speed in the NFL if he ever does IMO.

Not many out of this draft ever pan out. He's an aweful big boy, we'll see.

I didn't see the supplemental draft or anything. But all I know is B-more got Gaither. Did we have a shot to get him before B-more?
