Re: Ok, I don't care if its for depth...we cant have Stinkston!
Nope, he is currently not in the league.
His last reported activity was back in May when he worked out for TB.
That's strange, I wonder why no one has picked him up. I would take Bryant over Pinkston or Bradford anyday. |

Read the Edit on my previous post.

Yeah I just read your edit. I didn't realize that he was suspended.

Re: Ok, I don't care if its for depth...we cant have Stinkston!
Again, what about Keyshawn Johnson?
He had 70 receptions last year, 71 the year before, and 70 the year before that. With the exception of his injury year (03- 10 games) he has had 63 or more receptions every year! The 63 was his rookie season. He is a good possession receiver. |

Keyshawn's stats:

Re: Ok, I don't care if its for depth...we cant have Stinkston!
Keyshawn Johnson announced his retirement maybe a month or two ago. And why would we sign Todd Pinkston. I hope this guy never sees the field as a Redskin, he's scared of the football.

It's only cause he was released from Carolina 3 weeks before hand. I think he could be lured out easily. It's a lot better than the useless Pinkston. |
Re: Ok, I don't care if its for depth...we cant have Stinkston!
Why Pinkston when we could have had Keyshawn Johnson?
I actually would have been more concerned with signing Keyshawn. You don't sign someone like Key as camp fodder or as 4th or 5th receiver. Signing him would have been a clear sign that the team is genuinely concerned about his WR situation. At least with Pinkston, there's still a good possibility he's just another body |

I just think that Keyshawn would have been a solid upgrade at the #2, but I do have faith that Lloyd is going to show up this year. |
Re: Ok, I don't care if its for depth...we cant have Stinkston!
Looks like this guy will be an absolutely stellar addition to our receiving corps:
[YT]ls794MhIkU4[/YT] Presumably we only had to give up a 1st and 3rd round pick, right? I mean I know he wasn't even on a team to begin with, but we must have dealt some top draft picks away to get him because, hey, that's how we do things here. |
Re: Ok, I don't care if its for depth...we cant have Stinkston!
Well, if we were looking at a way to have James Thrash not be the No. 2 receiver, just remember that the last time Todd Pinkston held such a role, Thrash was the No. 1 receiver.
Pinkston is garbage. Lloyd's probably better. TP won't make the cut.
Yes, and they were called Stinkston & Trash. |
Re: Ok, I don't care if its for depth...we cant have Stinkston!
and that was for good reasons.

I could not believe he backed out of that catch. He has to be the biggest sissy in the entire NFL. |

Now THERE'S a depressing thought. :Flush: |
Re: Ok, I don't care if its for depth...we cant have Stinkston!
A warm body for camp... seems that he would be a real longshot to make the team.

I hope you're right...I couldn't stomach him seeing the field for us in a regular season game. |

Ahh, the high-brow wit of the Philadelphia Eagle Fan. They are a bunch of buffoons. Pro wrestling fans are more intelligent than these apes. I don't like the Pinkston signing either, but if there is one way to get me in his corner, it is to remind me of the way he and J.T. were scapegoated for McNabbs failures in the Carolina championship game. BTW, it's now about three weeks or so until Pam Oliver does the awful interview with McNabb that we can all see coming. God help us. |

I'm still shocked to see that footage. No wonder he hasn't found his way back to a team. |

Speaking of Pam Oliver, this is pretty good...

Re: Ok, I don't care if its for depth...we cant have Stinkston!
That's not the first time Todd Pinkston had a bad case of alligator arms.
|
Re: Ok, I don't care if its for depth...we cant have Stinkston!
moss, randle el, and lloyd have all had some injury problems this year already, albeit mostly minor...I'm ok with it for now. At least JC has someone to throw to during practice.
