So why the point of this thread? To point out that there's no shame in admitting you're wrong and to dispel any ridiculous notion that I or anyone else here just scours threads looking to point out when anyone else is wrong. Fact is, I (and every other mod) read 99% of all posts on this site. We have been for years, we have to. It's our responsibility. We notice patterns but none of us go looking to find things that are wrong.

But since there are some (one) people here who think (incorrectly) that my only purpose here is to point out when everyone else is wrong, I thought I'd start a thread pointing out a few times when I've been wrong.

I thought of a good one.

I was REALLY wrong when I used to hate Mike Sellers because he used to get called for so many personal fouls while he was on special teams. I was constantly screaming at the TV that he didn't deserve a job and that I was sick of him costing us 15 yards on every other ST play.
Now that he's learned to control and focus his overwhelming rage he's one of my favorite players and I'm seriously considering buying his jersey.

I was wrong when I evaluated Todd Collins when we signed him. I thought he was a capable NFL backup who, if pressed into duty, could manage the game well enough not to lose it. I REALLY underestimated him. Dude's ballin'! Winning games for us, putting nice velocity on his passes, hitting receivers in stride. Gotta give him his props.

I think just about everyone was wrong on Collins. If anyone really saw this coming your name must be either Todd Collins or Al Saunders, because even Gibbs seems surprised at the way he's played.

I was wrong when I thought the Skins were done at 5-7. Of course I hoped for a late season surge but I really didn't imagine them playing this well.
