Re: 980AM reports Warner to start!
Matty, did you like that spelling?! I was typing fast.
Seriously, do you think Warner will be in for all of the Cardinals "pass-only" plays because he can't hand off? Isn't that bad strategically? Redskins defense......."Hey guys, here comes Warner in the game for Rattay..... I guess they are passing on this next play!"
Well if they are down late in the game, we'd know they were passing anyways...I think thats what they are talking about. But the fact that they even are considering this seems to me a sign that they are not confident in their chances in this game. |
Re: 980AM reports Warner to start!
I was visiting the Cards message board and they are convinced that if Warner starts they will win. Almost all of them have us losing if its Warner and winning if its Rattay. KW must be God in their eyes. Also they all think Boldin will destoy us.

Well, according to Len Pastabelly of ESPN, it's looking more likely that Kurt Warner may indeed play this coming Sunday, and may even start per the report. I say it won't matter if he starts, or even if he plays at all. If the 'Skins play like their life depended on it, they should come out on top.

They are the ones who get free tickets, food and beer to every game. If he is in pain just handing the ball off then what is he going to do when we lay him out. I guess this week instead of trying to knock the ball out of his throwing hand take a wack at his other arm. |
Re: 980AM reports Warner to start!
Isn't he also missing his starting tackle that protects his blind side?

Wow! So we're only one letter away from Redi-Claus, the guy who my kids thinks brings them gifts when it's not Christmas. |
Re: 980AM reports Warner to start!
Boy, you think it's bad over in Redskins Nation, questioning Moss and Portis' effectiveness due to injuries... what the hell, Cards fans? Have we not seen the Kurt Warner Experience several times already and know how this throwback flick ends?
Throwing Leinart under a philosophical bus and praying to the altar of The Great Brown Bagger is outright comedy. Warner is this year's version of an annual NFL infatuation with has-beens who never really were, who look like they'll return to their former glory for a game or two, and then it all comes crashing down again when gravity and arthritis triumph over adrenaline, cortisone shots, and vicodin. Those wides are dangerous and let us not forget that Arizona is Where Great RB's Go To Die, so Edge could still hurt us as well. But Kurt Warner? You've got to be kidding me. |

The latest from J-La indicates that Springs will play this game and Rabach probably won't. Springs gets mad props for playing at a time like this in his life. Here's to hoping he has his best game as a pro tomorrow, after what he's going through. If Rabach is out, then that's not good news at all. If we have to use Pucillo at center, I see a lot of snapping problems, we all saw the dropoff in performance when Rabach left the game last week at Green Bay. |
