I haven't been able to make a prediction the last few weeks (and have been wholly satisfied w/ the results) and this weekend is no different. GW showed his genius last weekend and he'll have to do it again IMO to manufacture a W. He needs to develop stategies for both Romo and Johnson, preying on their weaknesses. Romo has been throwing INTs, especially under pressure. W/o TO in the game this makes for a huge opportunity. Johnson is typically too smart to throw INTs but can't run worth shit, also presenting opportunity.

So I still can't make a prediction, but I can say I'm optimistic - mainly for too reasons. Our offense has learned what consistent production is under the leadership of TC. And on defense, well, our guys are f'n flying all over the place.

Bears 23, Saints 14

Broncos 30, Vikings 27 (OT)

Skins win in a nail biting, stress inducing conservative second half...as usual. For the fans: I want to see the stands bouncing up and down like the RFK days. This is essentially a home playoff game against dallas (and don't think they are going to roll over for us either). Fans, please don't drive your mercedes and lexi to the game, Don't drink your cappucino. This is a liquor and diesel game. Please be loud and get rowdy like we used to do in the good old days. I swear if someone asks me to sit down when we're on D and its 3rd down I really might punch them. And please give all you got to those shitty traitor cowboys fans that show up to the game. They deserve it for coming into our house in their disgraceful blue and silver. My blood is boiling right now as I think about sunday. I don't know if I will be able to sleep tonight or saturday night.

A Team or B Team, we have to win one game. It's an opportunity to get into the playoffs and really punch our division rival and the best team in the NFC in the mouth. One game, one win.

With the wrong approach, we can lose to their backups.

I love this teams guts...High on effort and less on talent. Talent will blow out some teams...but when tied in the 4th quarter effort and guts get the job done.

Of course it won't be easy, but with the emotion and tenacity we've been playing with lately, I think we'll win. We have so much on the line, and the Cowboys are playing for nothing (except pride).

Brad Johnson does worry me a little bit (did I just say that?), but he is the 2nd stringer after all, and he probably hasn't received many practice reps throughout the season.

I don't predict a blow out from either side of the ball. The line is now 9 infavor of Washington, but I think that is too high. But I do predict a Skins victory.

Washington - 20
Dallas - 17

What to watch:
Cooley and the coverage he gets in the secondary by a safety.

Witten, with Owens out and Crayton and Glenn playing, those 2 WR's can stretch the field with their speed and open up the middle of the field underneath for Witten.

Romo will get some snaps simply because they want to see how he and Glenn can sync and also because Romo is only 8 receptions away from a new franchise record.

Barber is only 20 yards from his first 1000 yard season. Once he gets that 20 yards, I think he will sit.

Then the Redskins will go to Seattle and expose the Sea-chickens for the "playoff pretenders" they really are.

i believe the cowboys will come to play. they would rather play minnesota or new orleans then face us in the playoffs. with the way the redskins have been playing the last 3 weeks. we are playing just as well as any team right now. but the redskins hold on in a nail biter
