I know everybody if thinking about Seattle right now but I just stumbled upon next year's list of opponents (nfl.com) and it looks pretty nice to me.

I know that in this day and age teams turn around in a nano-second but I couldn't help but smile when I saw that we play games against the two weakest divisions (at least in my opinion) in football. The NFC West and the AFC North with NO and Detroit thrown in. Besides our usual NFC East games, it broke down like this:

Home Games - Arizona, S.L., Cleveland, Pittsburgh and N.O.
Away Games - S.F., Seattle, Baltimore, Cincy and Detroit

If someone already posted this I apologize...I did not see it already out there.
Cinci and Seattle are going to be very difficult games, but I think that home schedule is pretty favorable.

Obviously the games against Pittsburgh and Cleveland don't mean as much as the other ones, but New Orleans, St. Louis, and Arizona all look like average opponents for next year. Games that could go either way.

Those divisional games will be critical.
I mean don't people in NY lose their minds when the Yanks play the Mets?
Mets fans moreso than yanks. Yankees fans are more concerned with Bahsten. If you offer every met fan free tickets to any game, most will take one of the Yankee games. If you offer the same to a yankee fan, most will take a Bahsten game.

Matty's the big dawg here. He's got more posts (though I think I've got more in recent days). I'm always here, even when I'm not here I'm here.

But this is Matty's world...I'm just paying rent

I saw New Orleans orginally on the schedule, but it looks like it was changed to Carolina. I remember being PO'd about it when I saw it because I wanted Carolina instead.

So yay! Now a big group of us will be going up to see that one.

I wish the game was in Charlotte though then I could go.. I think we should have gotten the Saints because we are 3rd in our division as are the Saints. The Panthers got second in their division because they have a better conference record... who in our division got the Saints I wonder.

We can go about 11-5, but if our pattern continues i'd guess 6-10 to 8-8. Sorry, it's gonna be that way.
