Zorn went into detail about some of Campbells' strengths and talked about Jason having to squat so low at the LOS and being more explosive off the LOS. It was a great response and IMO his other responses to football based questions do show a great attention to detail.

Yeah--the attention to detail is the biggest take-away I have from this briefing. Hopefully that attention will find its way to the defense and special teams as well. Gibbs was very much a big-picture guy, and the catch phrases over the last few years have been stuff like "character" and "a Redskin-type guy." I'm so happy to be hearing about the center squatting too low. I'm psyched to have a head coach that doesn't have to take a knee during field goal attempts.

The more I think about it, the more I think that DS sees Zorn as what Spurrier was suppose to be. A guy that provides a spark to the offense while leaving the defense alone, WHILE still being a leader for the team.

I hope not, unless they're in negotiations with someone. Best to keep your options open during a situation like this rather then peg someone to be an OC before they've been contacted.

Huge Celtic fan here too. I thought they'd struggle without Garnett but they're not even close to struggling. We have ALOT better bench then most people thought coming into the year.

Is there anywhere I can watch the presser now? I had to watch the C's play Duncan and SA.

For the most part I was impressed with many of his remarks despite the fact he apeared just a little nervous, though I guess under the circumstances that could be expected.

He apeared engaging, honest and humourous to a degree, and he apears to be well aware of how he's going to be precieved by the fans, and the organization as a whole. He further made reference to that fact when he spoke about the poll in the WashPost which had his approval rate at 40%, higher than that of the President of the United States. At least we know he reads the paper, and obviously wants to see just how he's going to be accepted.

He further made reference to the running game, how much emphasis he'll place on it, and gaining the players trust. I'm anxious for him to get started, and to see how well he meets the challenges before him.

He mentioned he had some names in mind, but didn't want to reveal them. I would think he want's to engage in some dialouge with prospective hires' before revealing any details.

Now that was funny per Blache when he got the call last night about Zorn getting the HC job he was like doh....GREAT MOVE!

He is also speaking very highly of Zorn with the little time they have spent together, but friends and other coach's Blache has worked with speak the world of Zorn. I like the hire. I hope he gets it done for us.
