I have had bananna sandwiches with mayo before. It actually tastes pretty damn good. Ps. I still havent opened that bottle of Mad Dog 357. I'm scared! |

Nope, I have decided to keep it as a souvenir. If I do open it, it will be to prank some poor unsuspecting soul. I will still videotape it and post it on youtube or something. |
Re: ketchup or no ketchup
ketchup on scrambled eggs only, salt and pepper on everything else.
That's how I roll. Old Bay and hot sauce are also great on just about anything.
Try dipping a grilled cheese sandwich, or even better a hot ham and cheese, into ketchup. My little sister got me hooked on that. |
Re: ketchup or no ketchup
I have done ketchup on eggs before but it never stuck with me. Syrup only if I choose to put my eggs on the same plate as my pancakes/waffles/french toast. I don't put the syrup directly on my eggs it kinda has to be an allowed accident.
Now Apple Sauce on scrambled eggs ! WHOOOOO ! You have to have the correct amount of cinnamon mixed in the apple sauce though. The right amount of KRAFT cheese in the scrambled eggs. One slice per egg. Hot sauce on eggs is cool too. Anything besides A-1 on a steak is against all codes known to man ! Never did a banana sandwich before so that's all for y'all. I like to mix sweet peas with my mashed potatoes. Grits- salt, pepper, and butter. Hot Sauce, cheese, and fish (catfish, salmon) mixed in is pretty good as well. Boxed Kraft Macaroni and Cheese and ketchup. OMG THAT IS THE BEST EVER !!!!! |
Re: ketchup or no ketchup
Then you would hate me MonkFan. I put A1 on everything as normal as burgers to abnormal as macaroni and cheese or mashed potatoes..
|
Re: ketchup or no ketchup
No Malcolm A-1 on any and everything is fine ! I don't mind drinking a spoonful of A-1 from time to time just for the kick ! I'm saying anything besides a-1 on a steak is against all codes ! But A-1 just for the hell of it is A-OK to me.
|
Re: ketchup or no ketchup
I've done ketchup on eggs several times, then someone converted me to salsa on eggs. Yum.
But the real question is, has anyone had chicken and waffles? Good stuff. |

Man, I love me some chili or stew while I'm watching football. The wife makes this buffalo chicken dip, that is the best thing I've ever had. You might come close to a heart attack, but it's delicious. |
Re: ketchup or no ketchup
Chicken and waffles is MONEY.

So that's three Warpathers...I knew I liked you Malcolm. |
Re: ketchup or no ketchup
Do you put syrup on yours? I put syrup and hot sauce and you wouldn't think it's good, but by their powers combined THEY ARE CAPTAIN PLANET (that's a good thing).

Sometimes Syrup sometimes hotsauce, but never combined the 2. |
Re: ketchup or no ketchup
Damn! I need to learn to read...
It's okay bruh,... A-1 is a way of life. It looked as if I had turned my back on the greatest steak sauce known to man. I really get offended when people don't respect the power of A-1. I remember the first time I had steak at my in-laws and when I asked for some A-1 because I NEVER say steak sauce. It's too general, it gives someone enough of a window to give me some crap that they disrespect their Grade A beef with to me. So she brought me Heinz Steak Sauce and I was pissed ! Thankfully I had the 12 pack of MGD's that she had bought for me to be happy about. Turns out my mother-in-law can make a mean ass steak so all was good. Since then....I have a bottle of A-1 designated for road trips...i.e. cookouts, work, and the in-laws' !:food-smil |

nice. i'll stick with syrup for now:) |
Re: ketchup or no ketchup
How about hot dogs in scrambled eggs. Its pretty good. Dice up the hot dog or dogs and throw them in the pan to heat them up then scramble in the eggs.
I put A1 on cheap meat. A good rub before cooking is the most I'll do to a steak. |

Re: ketchup or no ketchup
When you guys scramble your eggs do you cook them with the cheese or do you cook the eggs and put the cheese on top ?
|
Re: ketchup or no ketchup
I'm not a ketchup fan in general; however, if it tastes good to you then enjoy. You should not have to be a closet ketchup guy.
|
Re: ketchup or no ketchup
no ketchup on eggs. not cool. at all.
|

I scramble my cheese in with my eggs. |
Re: ketchup or no ketchup
I def. do cheese on any kind of eggs. Even sunny side up. I like the yolks runny enough to sop up with toast, and mix with the cheese... kind a like a gooey serving of sunshine in the morning.
As far as grits go, shrimp and grits (i think its a carolina recipe) is a fav. dinner of mine and my wife's. Almost like grits with shrimp scampi mixed in... garlic and green onions and lots of butter... mmmmm oh, and talking about chicken... I love my fried chicken with honey. Never tried syrup, but honey on fried chicken is awesome. |

Sometimes before I dig in mess it all up, I'll just stare it, in it's perfected state, for a few minutes then dig in. Oh..and the A-1 steak sauce...mmm...mmmm. You gotta try some chicken and waffles, nothing like it. I mean some good old southern fried chicken, none of this KFC crap. |
Re: ketchup or no ketchup
Ketchup is a gutter condiment, for hillbillies and inbreds. Put it on nothing.

Re: ketchup or no ketchup
i only eat my eggs with ketchup. not a fan of syrup at all though
|
Re: ketchup or no ketchup
that's why i only eat "Fancy" Ketchup. None of that non-fancy crap they throw in a blender for the yokels.
|
Re: ketchup or no ketchup
i wont eat eggs unless they are loaded with ketchup and inside a sandwhich on toast...syrup on eggs seems kind of questionable
|
