Bram Weimstein on 94.3FM just reported "breaking news," the Redskins have offered their 1st round and original 3rd round pick to Cincy for Ocho Stinko. Trade is contingent upon an extension being worked out in the 6 year $65M dollar range. They didn't say anything about it being a joke, and I'm not kidding either.

That said, they'll probably come back on in a few minutes and say it's a hoax. We shall see.

To add a little more fuel to the fire, just clipped this from JLC:

Snyder made it known in no uncertain terms that he wanted Johnson when interviewing coaching candidates this off season, and I await Johnson and agent Drew Rosenhaus's next move to try to force an exit from Cincy.[/I]

2. Renegotiating his contract to 7 years / 50 million dollars with 20 million guaranteed.

The second is a conditional 1st round pick. If it is higher than #10 we keep it and it moves to the next year. To your point, I just heard Cerrato quoted on the radio saying, "A true first-tier wide receiver is worth a whole hell of a lot more than 2 post-15 first round picks. Guys like Chad Johnson don't just come around every year."

These rumors always over exagerate, the deal. I just heard on espn, that the Redskins have aquired Chad Johnson for a third round draft choice, Ladell Betts, and a draft pick to be determined based on Chad's performance and the teams record. They said the draft pick could be as high as a 2nd round pick. I heard on tv so there is no link yet, but as soon as it is on there site, I will provide link.
