I seriously doubt Kareem Moore is going to be playing CB. Considering the fact that we brought him in as a safety, plus he would be quite a load playing CB at 213 lbs.

I think Mathis makes the team and Cartwright & Thrash get cut. At this point Rock is a special teams player, not even on the radar as a RB and Thrash was a Gibbs guy and is up there in years. It's time for Mason, Westbrook and Mix to become the ST studs. Mathis is a Pro Bowler with blazing speed (assuming he's healthy) so he will be the primary KR and backup ARE at PR.[/QUOTE]

don't forget about Devin Thomas as KR. Depending on how he progresses in camp they may use him in that role. If they're willing (realizing you have a new head coach who might change things) to play ARE at starting wr & return punts, they might be willing to do the same w/the rookie if he can contribute immediately as a kr.

Also would like to learn more about Wilson's potential as a Linebacker as the depth doesn't seem to add up there, with two injury prone linebackers and one suitable backup for all three positions in Blades. Askew could also have a shot about making the team, but I'm not sure about Boschetti. [/FONT]

[FONT=Arial]Brian Wilson, Dorian Smith, Rob Jackson, Gatewood, and even Kyle DeVan all seem like candiates for the practice squad but some of them could sneak onto the opening day roster especially if they play well on special teams. Horace Grant could be another guy that will be under consideration to be placed on the practice squad especially if Thrash gets cut. Jerome Mathis looks like camp foder after all. Would also like to see if Marcus Mason could go back to the practice squad as I don't fully understand how the practice squad works. All I know is that the players get to practice with the team, they get payed less, and another team can pick them up off waivers. However I don't know how many guys are allowed and if they can be placed on it more then once. [/FONT]

Curtis Gatewood, Horace Grant, Andrew Crummey, Dorian Smith, Bryan Wilson, Sam Hollenbach, Mathias Askew, Westbrook (Even if he doesn't develop as a corner he's still very useful on the scout team when it comes to preparing to face his brother and I'm not kidding about that)

On the crime of recomending a recently cut player because he has a high rating in Madden?

We find the defendant....Guilty.

Sentencing will comence on Monday.

You can appeal the Madden decision but I don't think you'll have any luck fighting the vet min charge.

We the jury sentence the defendant to the penalty of not being able to use the term "vet-minimum","veteran minimum", or any other similar phrase thereafter until the regular season commences.

We also mandate that the defendant sign up for Madden probation at the clerk's desk and enroll in Free Agent Hype Management classes. This to be served on the 9th day of May, 2008.

thats 48 of 53... i assume we'll get a late FA safety and LB, and obviously one of the camp LBs will make the roster, as will 1-2 DBs. they'll make it on ST play more than coverage in all likelyhood.
