I guess their ProBowl QB is having a hard time trying to figure out Our ExCordinators 700 page playbook.
Excellent Point.

Browns 7- Cowgirls 7 2nd quarter. Anderson and Winslow playing very well.

Really.... I dont think there is another team in the NFL that plays as well at home & as poorly on the road as they do...it really looks like two different teams sometimes.

No noise advantage on the road.

The Cowboys look really good right now. I wonder who they will lose to in the playoffs this year after securing Home Field advantage?

Watching this game makes me realize what a really good job our "D"
did against them last year.

How about those Buffalo Bills? They tore up Seattle and looked great and the Browns D is waking up.

The Cowboys have a huge steal with Felix Jones. Huge with a capital H.
Drew Brees is in my FF team, so I'm enjoying it this week. I must say that I hope the Saints D is not that great, I mean the Bucs are not a potent offense, but they were in the game until the end. So I hope our offense can avoid a ton of 3 and outs, and keep Brees on the sidelines.
We need to be able to account for Charles Grant up the middle next week or else we're in trouble. I think that's key for us as an offense. He can negate the run and disrupt the rhythm( or lack thereof) ofthe passing game. The Saints D looked improved, particularly the corner play. They were able to take away the deep ball. But as a whole the Saints D isn't comparable to the Giants, so it should be interesting.

He reminds me of Emmitt Smith with his style of running, it won't be long before he replaces Barber as the starter.

What a horrible day. Eagles, Cowboys and Panthers all win. And Skins lose Thursday. I'm already anxious for next Sunday to start.

The Eagles and Cowboys looked very good. Yes, Felix Jones looked real good too. This indeed is a tough division, but we all know that.

like i said 4 months ago - the brown's strength of schedule is much tougher this year.

they're a lot better than last year, but it'll be hard for them to do any better than 10-6 this year.

on the other hand, the bills are looking pretty good... and so is chris johnson.

Re: Around the NFL week 1

Dallas looked very good--that offense is clicking. At least the Browns put one nice hit on Romo and cut his chin. And Barber went off to have xrays on his hand. Going to be very tough.

Not a surprise to me about the iggles--they've never needed WRs if McNabb is on and Westbrook is healthy.

And we go to Dallas and Philly back-to-back in 4 and 5. And of course WE have to go to Seattle. BS schedule. No love there at all.

Also, Pittsburgh looked great--good D, good running game, very efficient passing game.

Watching the good teams today really made me long for a dominant o-line. Romo gets to sit back there for about 5 minutes. Oy.

I've been a Skins fan too long to buy into the Browns this year. I've seen that movie too many times. Trade and overpay a bunch of big name underachievers, ignore depth issues on both sides of the ball, buy into your own hype, get wrapped up in a media circus and national TV schedule.

I'm just glad it's finally somebody else.

Re: Around the NFL week 1

Our schedule does blow. Why do we get all our division teams on the road in the first six weeks. Plus opening on Thursday sucks too and the extra pre-season game blows!!!!

Yep, the Browns have 6-10 written all over them.

The Cowboys line is good, but I have never in my life seen the type of time that Romo was afforded. Talk about ZERO pass rush.

The Browns could be a good team if they had a defense. They can't outscore EVERYONE, which is what they'll have to do to win this season.

And in the last game of week 1... it becomes damn near unwatchable listening to Mike Greenberg do the play-by-play. Absolutely god awful terrible. Ditka and Golic aren't any better.

At least Jaworski and Tirico cancel out that screaming idiot Kornheiser in the early game. No such luck here.

Compensation for Brandon Marshall being out this week, although Royal looks very spry.
