I think it has something to do with the wires... With a wireless mouse, the data doesn't have to travel through some long wire to the computer -- it just beams directly to the monitor. So much better.

Also, I moved my computer to my desk ages ago to avoid gravity interference. What do think I am, a noob?
Is anyone else thinking of Star Trek 4 when Scotty is talking to the Apple?

Hence why IT has to set email quotas in the first place...if you need the email that badly, archive it off the server.

Trust me, i know. Corp. policy precludes the individual site admins from doing this. Instead, we get a padded portion of our desk to bang our head's on...

At least yours is padded. I get nothing and like it!

You've got a lot bigger issues than your mouse if that's the case. Your new mouse you probably installed the software for and it automatically setup the response times for movement and clicking. It is impossible for a mouse to make a whole computer faster.

Nah, this mouse has a nano-processor-cosmotron-accelerator which offloads mouse processing from the central processor, reducing the demand on the CPU. Also, it has a Turbo Button (R) to further increase computer speed, as well as horizontal, vertical and diagonal scroll wheels. I also painted flames on it.

I can't fix your computer but I am sick of political talk. :)

re started the computer, and kept tapping the F2 key. guess what? it works. anyone know why tapping that key fixed it?

Re: Sick of politics here? Fix my computers!

Coincidence for sure. Depending on the mobo, tapping F2 during a reboot should have put you into the BIOS...most likely you fiddling with the receiver "fixed" the connection.

Yep, that's the one. And, as you can see, it's wireless.

Angry, that's nice, but it's not wireless and there is no horizontal scroll wheel. Clearly the other one is superior.
