Just wondering what every one thinks about Plexico next year possibly hiting the free agent market. I know he is a moron, but him and Moss would make up the best duo in the league.
You're kidding, right? We've already invested in plenty of raw talent in the last draft. I would rather coach our own guys up than invest in somebody else's problem child.

He meant to say, Perplexico "the mess" Buress. He not worth a shot (no pun intended).
he will be in jail for the next 3 years
Everyone's beating me to saying it so ....DITTO. but I will say, with out checking his age, that sometimes young players need to mature. No different then ST21 had to mature. So, if and when he finishes his dutiful jail time as apart of the NY mandatory 3 yr minimum policy then hopefully he would have matured and not followed the path to becoming a better criminal then we can talk about it.

Only if Maurice Clarrett isn't on parole.

Although, Plaxico would make a nice target for Vick when he is paroled since so many are griping about JCampbell.

I have seen the longest yard, we should be sniffing around the prisons for talent and male love, I mean talented men to love??

He's 31. At that point, can't change a leopard's spots. Sean's mistakes and following maturity came in his early 20s.

Sign Plax = No way

I hope to god this is not how Vinny determines which FA to pursue. It all makes sense now. Vick is gonna be a redksin next year

Re: Should We Sign Plexico Burris.

I'll talk about any Redskin topic. However, I just can't believe this is a real topic.

This guy could do 3.5 yrs in jail. He's not going to get any break from the police, the mayor, the media, the NY Giants or Coughlin - in fact he may be punished for his monumental stupidity.

He let his team down in the middle of a serious Superbowl run - do you really want someone like this on our team?

I believe if he's convicted, carrying an unlicensed firearm in NYC is a mandatory 3 1/2 year jail term. No wiggle room for a judge on sentencing. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

Agree 100%, money talks and bullshit walks. This is no where as serious as the Michael Vick (sad i even have to say "Michael" instead of just "M." or "Vick") case. So, to answer the question- FUKNO with a bow on top. Merry Xmas!

Never mind let his old ass rot. lol. I was for CJ anyway. I liked the sound of it better....JC just threw a bomb to CJ and CJ just turned JC's pass into a TD. :)

Re: Should We Sign Plexico Burris.

Carrying a loaded weapon into a public club is just stupid and dangerous. The fact that he shot himself shows how easy it is to hurt or kill someone else when modern firearms are concerned.

We lost a great player when Sean Taylor was murdered with such a pistol. I would beat a $1,000,000 [if I had it] that Danny Snyder wouldn't never even consider hiring such a player. Snyder and Cerrato have taken some heat before due due to dumb decisions. Hiring Plexico Burres after this weapons offense would ignite a media feeding frenzy here the likes of which the world has never seen -even in DC.

No way, no how.

Here's the play by play from the UFL in a few seasons:
Vick takes the snap, play action to Travis Henry, going deep to Buress....

The UFL, for good players who've gone bad.

A friend of mine who is a criminal lawyer in NC said that it is a mandatory jail sentence. However, his sentence can be suspended meaning that he is on probation for a set amount of time and any infraction puts him in prison for however long the sentence is for and still serves the remaining probation upon exiting. Now, how this affects his ability to play in the NFL, I don't know.

HUH? The reason why philly won last night was because he they were able to cheat up closer to the line to help stop the run. Previous games they had to double and play off the line to stop Plaxico. Without him the team is a bunch of mediocre recievers.

Re: Should We Sign Plexico Burris.

A Huge YES! ....then we can stall is court case for about 6 months and hire OJ's Lawyers. Then If the bullet doesn't fit in the hole they have to let go. and another arguement could be that unless he has issues like T.O. then there is no way he would try to shoot himself and point out that it has to have been another gun men that the police refuse to look for.
