Apparently the key to completing a pass to Gardner is to throw it out of his reach, make him leap or dive for a catch he'll get it but throw it at his chest and he might as well have his back to you.

He makes the hard ones look easy, and the easy ones look hard. Maybe you're right, Smoot. Throw it near but not at him...
