Re: Don't Bust An Obama Supporter
If your self worth is your paycheck, than fine. However, while in school I delivered bread. All of the delivery guys make over 100K a year in salary (20% of all bread sales for Pepperidge Farm goes into their pocket), then more if they decided to sell off their territory, the first thing every one told me "Stay in school."
I personally would rather be smart than rich. Unfortunately, I'm neither. |

Sales and math are my strength so that's what I do and have done very well. If I had it to do all over again things would be different but I probably would not have had my first child so things do happen for a reason. |
Re: Don't Bust An Obama Supporter
I heard a news report on this while at lunch and think I missed the story inside of this story. This group was found to have missused the funds they received from the federal goverment and had to return around have of the funds back to the goverment. What I don't get if they where found to have misused the funds why didn't the federal goverment require that they return all the money and cut them off from receiving any more funds?

Very few of you partisans are concerned with the truth. Instead, you're concerned with making the "other" look bad. It's funny how you can see this in the media, but not in yourselves.

Think Forest Gump Also if your smart then you should be smart enough to figure out how to make money. Its not rock science. Think about this: If someone is not very smart and becomes rich and you have a very smart poor guy isn't the dum guy smarter because he used what he had to become the best he could be while the smart guy did not use what he had. |

Re: Don't Bust An Obama Supporter
Forrest Gump actually knew he was not smart. He did, however, have other qualities that helped him surpassed most human beings.

Not always. The smartest guy I know works at Target. Seriously. You can be too smart for your own good sometimes. 1560 on his SATs without a calculator and being quite hungover. Maybe had I forgotten my calc. I woulda done better... |

Re: Don't Bust An Obama Supporter
Seems Obama's support in the media isn't liberal bias alone. It has a great deal to do with profits at General Electric (parent of NBC). Interesting to see the contributions and connections of Disney's CEO. Nice to see he blatantly puts his politcal views over profits. Glad I don't own any Disney stock.
Opinion I was planning on visiting a couple of Disney properties with my wife next year, that's off now. |
