Eh, D. Hall is a bit outspoken and people hate him no matter what. I mean he whiffed a big time play, but also made a big time play. You don't see people going nuts about Rogers dropping a pick that hit him in the hands. But he's getting paid more than Rogers, and is expected to make plays every time.

Personally I'm tired of this whole bunch. The only guy I like right now is Zorn. I don't think he's ready to be an NFL coach, but at least:

1. He's sincerely trying his best.
2. He's not blaming anyone but himself.

The rest of these clowns should take example.

Remember this is the same coach who knocked off Philly and Dallas back-to-back on the road last year. I've watched this team for 30 years and those were two of the most impressive regular season wins I can remember.

This whole thing started to unravel midway through last year when Portis threw Zorn under the bus, and the rest of the team followed suit with their play. Losing that game in Cincy with a playoff spot on the line was unacceptable. Where's the pride??

The boys from the "U" and the rest of them are such big stars but they haven't won squat here. I know, Snyder's a bad owner, Gibbs was too old for today's game, Zorn is in over his head, blah blah blah... the excuses are getting old. At some point the players gotta take some responsibility. But not this group. Just keep yapping away and cashing the cheques.

Put it this way, he's almost making Champ Bailey money and he is NOT!!! Carlos Rogers should have been signed instead and for $15 Mil less, he might drop interceptions but he breaks up passes and can tackle. Before you say he gets burned, remember he tore up his knee and that takes 2 years to come back from. By the way we are talking about Hall not Fletcher.

So we have two incomplete DBs, I don't think we should give money to either of them. Shit, Rogers is in a damn contract year and he's playing like crap too.

Bailey would have made that tackle and that picked by the way (so would have D. Green)

DeAngelo Hall is probably the least physical corner we have, the whiff on Delhomme and the whiff on Manningham in week 1 being exhibits A & B.

BUT, to discount what he said because of that or his absurd contract is to shoot the messenger for the message. Didn't the FO OFFER him that contract? So we're blaming Hall for overpaying him instead of concentrating on the O-line? Yeah, that makes sense. There's a reason so few of our players are playing up to their contracts, it's because we don't pay players for what they've done in DC. Outside of Cooley and Samuels there hasn't been one Redskins player that we've drafted, developed, and paid. You can't disregard the draft for a decade, sign a defensive tackle and then be surprised when our backup LT is a guard. I'm going to have a Guiness because our FO is Brilliant!

Heyer struggled greatly with Peppers this week, but not as bad as Dockery did (and Dockery hadn't even been a problem before this week in pass pro).

Heyer has been a surprisingly strong run blocker this year. Even with Lineman Yards penalizing him very heavily for the safety, he still put together an above average game. His improvement in the run blocking game is the biggest improvement on the OL.

But the Panthers got tremendous amounts of pressure with a three man rush, and they did so without ever attacking Rabach, who might be the worst pass protecting Center in the NFL. They did it by isolating and beating Dockery, and by consistently owning Batiste with situational pass rushers.

Mike Williams at RT is a complete disaster waiting to happen though. I understand you might not have more than two NFL caliber OTs on the roster, but you can at least leave Heyer at RT and provide help for Batiste at LT.

There's nothing wrong w/ Hall's comments. The offensive line is a disaster created by the ineptitude and general mismanagement within our FO, which for all practical purposes is lil Danny and his toady Vinnie. Don't tell me it's the coaches fault we've got the worst oline in football...if it takes a coach to point this out than lil D doesn't deserve to own a franchise (well that's already up for question) and Vinny doesn't deserve to have any more responsibility than washing uniforms (the rest of the league already knows this). So bottom line is it falls on the FO and while Hall can't come right out and say "These guys don't have the first clue how to put a team together" his comments from the article get the point across. He's talking common sense and that's about the gist of it...

Portis and Hall might be right bout what they say to reporters, shouldnt stop them getting fined for the detrimental to team observations. Like Matty said, tackle the freaking quarterback on the most important play of the game then say something.
I'm all happy bout him making that interception but its not like he made a great play, the receiver mishandled the ball and it went right to Hall.

He picked the ball off and ran it to the one inch line...that's not great, but it ain't that bad either. Carlos Rogers would have dropped that ball.

Anyway, this is the problem with the lack of leadership in this team. The only players speaking out are the CB that was in the doghouse last year and can't hold on to a pick to save his life, and the other player speaking out is the overpaid CB that couldn't tackle Delhomme and is hated by just about everyone.

The funny thing is that as much as we bash the front office, the fans a lot of times think JUST like the front office. Focusing on one little thing and not realizing that there are a slew of problems that need to be addressed.

As I said before, as much as I agree with what Hall and Rogers have said, I don't think they bring much credibility due to their own poor play this season.

Excuse me, but that means that these guys could start for 15 teams in the NFL.

I wonder if as many people would be upset if Cooley or ARE or Fletcher said the same exact thing or if it's because Hall is a bit of a polarizing player on the Redskins.

I personally don't have a problem with what he said because he didn't single out one guy. It was more of an indictment on the front office than one player.

I've watched every play so far this season, and while both have made mistakes, they both overall have been solid. With roughly 60 offensive plays in a game and each guy making a mistake on less than 5% of them does that make them "suck". Rinehart has started 1 or 2 games, Heyer has started 17. And at this point what do we have to lose if we let them play together at RG/RT and see if they will develop into a good tandem on the right side.

You want to blame Heyer for the safety this week? You tell me how you take a lateral first step against one of the best DEs in the NFL and expect to drive him off the ball on your own 2 yd. line. That was a piss poor play-call. First drive of the TB game both Rinehart/Heyer looked bad, after that they pulled themselves together.

Can I go down the list of all 32 teams and tell you what teams these two could start for, I'm not going to take the time to do that. But I can tell you that the play of these two guys is a minimal factor in our offensive woes this season.

Snyder should realize this year that hes not up to the task of football operations by the simple fact that Zorn was first hired as OC. I think we all know he is incapable of playcalling duties. They than promoted him to head coach and were so adamant that he would be such a great coach......when will u learn danny boy???
