Yes, strip-search them! But it wouldn't be as bad as it sounds. It would only be done in the most respectful manner, the sign police would wear latex gloves, and they would try to have female sign-police officers available to strip-search female fans whenever possible.

I went through my season ticket material and there is nothing at all about signs or anything close. There is a Fan Code of Conduct but nothing mentioned relating to what has been done by the Skins Mgmt.

Us season ticker holders make it possible for others to watch the games on TV in the privacy of their own homes. That's been one consolation for me over the years, knowing that through fans like myself we help make it possible for other fans who are not fortunate enough to be able to attend the games to view them just the same.

Actually I found/read the article even before it was posted here, so I'll see your sheesh and raise ya a whatever. Unless the TV cameras zero in on one or two particular fans, then those of us watching the game at home are going to notice empty seats more than what fans are wearing in the stands. That was really our point. If I tune in and see a stadium that is half way, or more, empty, then I am going to notice that first before I see what fans are wearing.

I agree you'd notice a half-empty stadium before noticing what people are wearing -- regardless of how many people are wearing it.

However, I don't think it's ineffective. Yeah, if only one or two particular fans are protesting, but that is not the case. What do you think the cameras would do, if 40,000 people were wearing the anti-snyder stuff? You think they'd ignore it? Well, they didn't have to make that decision because Snyder didn't let them in, or forced them to abandon the stuff that Snyder didn't approve of. Why did he do that, you ask? Because he didn't want it to receive any coverage. I think that says it all.

Well I think it's kind of the trickle down theory. It starts with written news articles or blogs about it. (which has already happened.) Then, ESPN gets wind of it and eventually it gets on TV. Basically what Dan Snyder is doing is trying to plug the holes in the dam as good as he can. However, eventually, more holes appear than what he has fingers and it can't be stopped. I still say the most affective way of sticking it to Snyder is to reduce, if not completely cut off, padding his pocket with money. No more buying tickets and going to the games, no concessions, no Redskins swag, no paid parking, etc... All the shirts really are doing is reinforcing what people already assume or know about Daniel Snyder. Seems to me the only guy who has said anything nice about him has been Joe Gibbs, but that is because Gibbs isn't the type of guy who is going to go publicly bashing people, and plus Snyder worships Gibbs.

As a fan who never goes to the games (because I don't live in the area nor do I have the money to go) the first thing I noticed last week and last night was which seats and how many were empty. More noticeable last week of course, but that speaks volumes to me.

I hear ya. I think it's just fun to ruffle Danny's panties whenever, and however, possible. I know a lot of people aren't on board with the bus ads, but it makes me smile knowing how much that would irritate Snyder. Yeah, I'm petty, but I'm okay with it. :)

I agree, only because Snyderato needs to understand it is their incompetence that got us here. The media attention that it will get on network/national pregame shows, NFL Network, Espn etc. will force the attention and raises the stress level of Snyderatto more than anything else.
The people that got upset about this idea need to lighten up.

I live in Texas and have friends here in Houston that come from all over the country, and they all are laughing at the Redskins and in particular Danny. They all to the person say the same thing, how Danny and Vinny have driven this team into the ground in such a short amount of time since Gibbs left. It is amazing the consensus of the fingers pointed at Snyderatto. It is years too late. I have hated Ceratto for the last 7 years.

The fact that any of us continue to support this team, in spite of the owner, just goes to show how much the team means to us. It is easy to support them when they are winning, and easy to run like rats when they aren't. Anyone who switches off there team because times are dark(and I don't recall them darker in the last 40 years) was never really a fan at all.

Now, I will just sit back and wait for Dangina to publish his book, "My Struggle"
