I agree with you. I think after the spankings:spank: we've taken the last few weeks we are due for a win!! |
Re: Predict our next WIN
Have you seen what that revamped Denver defense is doing to GOOD PRODUCTIVE offenses!?
Washington wins this game only if Denver is caught looking past them. Fact of the matter is that in the first 7 games of the season, the combined records of the 'Skins opponents (to date) is 13-33. After the bye, the combined records of the remaining opponents is 34-16. 5 of the lat 9 games are away. There is only 1 team you are facing in the last 9 games that has a losing record....Oakland. And they have more wins then most of the teams that have already beated the Redskins. Not to mention it is a trip for the team across 3 time zones. I think that the Skins beat Oakland. But I would feel better about that win projection if the game were being played at 1 PM on Sunday in FedEx. West coast teams playing early games in the eastern time zone do badly. That is a definite home field advantage.
Sounds like a sore Dallas fan after Denver kicked their ass. Just because Dallas can't beat them don't come here and say we can't. I'm guessing that Dallas fans are so dumb you have to come here to talk football. |

Any game where the Redskins turn it over three times is going to be a loss. If Denver doesn't force any turnovers, they'll have a hard time winning with offense, because their offense has struggled to move the ball against even the most middling defenses (like Cincinnati). |

Re: Predict our next WIN
I honestly think there's a greater than 50% chance that we won't win another game the rest of the year. On paper, the only team that we are not automatically considered the underdog for is the Raiders. However, right now, i think the raiders would beat us.
Yes, we close the season playing some teams that may have already secured playoff spots and those teams may be playing their backups. However, i see this team falling apart and getting WORSE as the season moves on, not better. And you know what - thats fine with me. We've got a lame duck coach and possibly entire offensive staff that will not be hear next year. We've got a "GM" that is most likely getting the axe as well. This team is going to undergo a major overhaul in the offseason and theres nothing any players or coaches on this team can do to change that. If we're going to start over in 2010, we might as well have a higher draft pick. I'm looking for 2010 right now and I dont look at it as giving up. I'm just counting the days until Cerrato is fired. True Redskins fans have been waiting for this day for almost a decade. January 3, 2010 can't come soon enough. |

It just wouldn't surprise me at all if we won a few games at the end of the year and Snyder let Cerrato keep his job (they're obviously buddy-buddy or he'd be gone by now) |
Re: Predict our next WIN
DALLAS!
If we end up with only 2 more wins and they're against Dallas, I'll take it. Heck, at this point, I'll take 1 win vs. Dallas! |

With your avatar, you shouldn't be bashing us for predicting late season wins...we could end up with more wins in the last month than Dallas. In fact, with your avatar playing, it's likely. |
Re: Predict our next WIN
Looking at the schedule. We might go 2-14. It does not get any better. Maybe Oakland. But they are one of those teams that have not won.

I admire your dedication, but it is time to come down to a little place the rest of us like to call "Earth".
The Broncos defense has only surrendered 262 yards per game. They have held 2 of the top 3 offensive teams in the league to under 300 yards. And New England is one of those 2 teams. Also they are +7 in turnover margin. Elvis Dumervil is playing lights out this season. Now Washington's offense is only able to manage 296 yard per game. And that was against teams that ranked 30th, 26th, 29th in total defense. Not too mention that it is no secret that the 'Skins offensive line troubles are horrendous. The Broncos defense has racked up 21 sacks ths far. If your keeping count, they are 6-0 and that is a little over 3 sacks per game. Dumervil must be licking his chops at the prospect of going up against Washington without Samuels at LT. |

Re: Predict our next WIN
Boy!! We're really scraping the bottom of the barrell now aren't we? All those high expectations at the beginning of the season 10-6, 12-4, 9-7, 11-5, now after seven games in we're surfing the remainder of the schedule hoping to find a win.....Amazing.
Our next win will come Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. I'm just glad we're not playing the Titans they fit the profile of all our opponents thus far except for one. |
Re: Predict our next WIN
I think this team will continue to unravel. More players will be hurt and many will mentally give up as we lose BIG to some of the teams we are going to face.
I hate to say this but I actually wonder if we will win another game this year. I started out predicting a 5-11 season; but now don't think we'll get anywhere near that number. |
Re: Predict our next WIN
I don't see us winning at all for the rest of the season UNLESS we pull out a win against an NFC East rival since it seems like we always play them harder (am thinking one or the other of the Dallas games or the final Iggles game). We always play the G-Men hard, so I don't see anything there but another close and stinging loss reminiscent of this past Monday.
We always lose to Oakland, I don't see that changing because we always play DOWN to our competitors, too... The Chargers, the Broncos, the G-Men, the Saints and the Falcons are gonna beat us, and with the Saints and/or Chargers it might be a blowout. 2-14 season, MAYBE 3-13 if they can get some fire under their butts against the Cowpukes in one game of the series or against the Iggles @ Lincoln. |
Re: Predict our next WIN
Fact is we are undefeated on the game after a bye week on odd numbered years since 2005. That's a straight up fact. Look it up.

didn't we break that old record about democratic president or something last year, that tradition was pretty old i feel too, i hope we win like i do every week, especialy since i said at the begining of the season we'd be 6-10, but rigt now i cannot honestly say i see any gaurenteed wins but there are four we have a chance in oakland, san diego, and dallas cause we always have a chance with them |
Predict our next WIN
Wow how this hurts...but here it is.
The next win will be in 2010. Jason goes, Zorn goes and Vinnie is "promoted" to another role. And DS makes a bid for a "big time" QB in the draft. //sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writers/andrew_perloff/04/28/2010/index.html After the past 10 years, it could happen...... |

I hope I will be there to see them in person!!! Bought the tickets during the summer!!!! |
Re: Predict our next WIN
It will be at San Diego, last game of the season. We will all over anallize the game to the point of dilusion that we will be superbowl contenders next year. Then reality will set in, we drafted Tebow # 4 over all, signed Gruden to a record 8 mil per x 10 year contract. Then we are in another University of Florida Bizzaro world; Heisman quarterback with a coach that swears he can win in the NFL. At the same time Vinny and Danny salivating over it, signing over the hill and other reject offensive lineman, swearing that we have all the pieces in place... AND IF YOU SAY OTHERWISE, you will be virtually crucified on the warpath. Thanks to the perpetual, "smartest man in the room", dumbass Danny.. Thanks for ruining Sundays ASSHOLE!

Re: Predict our next WIN
it wont be next week v.s. the Falcons. the way they are playing defense v.s. the Saints, campbell will be sacked about 7 times, and fumble it at least 3 times.

Re: Predict our next WIN
What's next year's schedule? The Skins might not win another game this season.
|
Re: Predict our next WIN
Denver , the Bronoco's play MNF vs the Steelers and it will be Denver's 2nd game on the east coast in 3 weeks . We just need to kick the dog shit out of dallas ... twice .
|
Re: Predict our next WIN
We have the toughest schedule from here out. Folks, we legitimately could have a top 3 pick here. Each one of these teams has 1 win.
Oak: Plays KC at home, @ Clev, and Was at home KC: @ Oak, Cle at home, we lost to KC so we hold the tie breaker Cle: Oak, @ KC St Louis: One win and I don't see another on their schedule I would like to think we would be able to win a couple more. Especially at Oak. However, w/ the way our team has played, you can't expect more than 1 or 2 wins tops. |
Re: Predict our next WIN
Atlanta...for godsakes its the NFC south...aside from that BS win from the panthers the only competitive team is the Saints in that division say what you say who has ATL beat with any real credibility?
