This is the truth. I hate these threads.

Even if it were like baseball, Bailey played the majority of his career and has put up better stats with Denver, it wouldn't be a question.

While this is true many players still sign one-day contracts to retire as a member of a certain team. So for the HOF you are correct, but you do retire as part of a team symbolically at least.
