I was hoping they could destroy the Cowboys but I guess not today

I'm looking at the positive side, how fun it is going to be this week reading Philly sports columns and visiting their forums, watching them melt down.

Never seen so many calls go Dallas' way. Eagles are starting to look ... like the '09 Skins.

Yeah, the officiating in this game is just so piss poor.

And why the eff does Andy Reid refuse to run the football? It's unbelievable. They drop back to pass like at least 8 out of every 10 plays it seems. News flash Andy: If you run every once and a while you can slow down the pass rush.

Andy Reid has that look on his face like, well, at least I'm gonna eat cheesesteak later, so the day's not a total loss.

What a pathetic meltdown by the Eagles. 0-3 vs the Cowboys this year, including blowouts on back-to-back weeks. They're just never quite good enough.

I know we all hate Dallas but let's take a moment to savor the fact that those eagles yobs who made jokes about ST after he died are experiencing another year of crushing disappointment and crunch time futility...

This entire game has been one gigantic playcalling fail for Philly.

Re: Wild Card Weekend Game Day Thread(s)

Just a few random thoughts on Cowgirls and the D-II team that showed up to play them:

1) McNabb needs to lose that stupid half beard thing or whatever it is and wipe that stupid look off his face on the sideline. I don't even know what the look is, but it just pisses me off.
2) I hate the f-in Cowturds, it makes me sick to see them win. Now we can't hit their fans with the whole no playoff wins in 13 years.
3) Nothing has changed with Vick, big plays....one way or the other.
4) I would really love to take a tire-iron to Romo, just for S & G, where's Jeff Gillooly when you need him.
5) Filth-adelphia fans should be completely embarassed.
6) Officating does suck
7) Where's Jessica Simpson when you need her
8) Did I say I hate the f-in Cowturds

Sorry for the rant, it's late and knowing Dall-ass will win has me plenty pissed-off.

There is no other team in sports whose owner is shown on TV more often. It's so annoying. If Tony Romo farts they pan to Jerry Jones high-fiving some idiot in the owner's box. Sure he's a hands-on owner, but my god. Enough already.

Side note- Dallas' cheerleaders are pretty effing phenomenal.

On a serious note, does anybody else feel like the Cowboys have a legit shot at going through Minny and NO/Packers or Cards? I feel like this is the first year I'm legitimately concerned the Cowboys might do some serious damage in the playoffs.

And F the Eagles. It's one thing to act like a contender during the regular season but they were looking like straight pretenders in back to back weeks against the Cowboys.

Re: Wild Card Weekend Game Day Thread(s)

NFC is wide open Mooby (although not as wide open as the Redskins offensive line last year. HA, BURN!)

Cowboys have as good a shot as anybody imo, especially if they play like that.

And when you eventually lose (probably next week), you and the likes of Sandtrap will disappear because you're "busy with work" or "out of town." Please.

Vanish when you're losing, talking smack when you look good. Pretty typical Cowpoke behavior.

Minny, Green Bay, and Dallas are all smokin right now. Any of the three could win the conference. It's all about who's hot at the right time. That's why I like the Chargers, Packers, and maybe even the Jets to do some damage. Teams like NO, Arizona, NE and Indy need to break out the smelling salts.

On a serious note: NO!

Minn. has a better defense then the Eagles and more weapons on offense. I can tell you Favre will tear them apart. "If" , "If" for some reason Minn. finds a way to lose the game, which they won't but if they do, Dallas won't get past the Saints. :)

They have been pretenders since they lost against Oakland.

SBXVII in Stafford VA the Cowboys have already beaten the slumpin Saints. AP will fumble the ball away next week. Too bad Favre is not playing in Dallas because he has never won there.

Sure it does, you told her it was lame that the Boys were dancing after the win, then she countered it wasn't as lame as the Skins season. I don't think it is going to be lame if the Boys go all the way, while we might have to wait a good 3-5 seasons to make the playoffs.

Saints were one Suishy FG from losing to us for god sakes and they have been tanking since. Minnesota has also cooled off, especially Peterson. Bastard cost me getting into the playoffs for fantasy football. I think GB is more of a real threat now than Minnesota or the Saints.

U mean how the hate threads and post from skin fans stop on here when the Boys win? talk about typical behavior. The only time we even mention the Skins games on the Cowboysboard if they are gettin really blown out or when Dallas is playing the Skins. Other than that we don't waste time discussing a team we do not like. There is a few threads about the boys every week on this site. This site looks like a cowboys subsidiary website at times.

First of all she said "thanks," when what I said was not a complement, and was furthermore not about her. Unless she was one of the people dancing that makes no sense. Second, she exploited an ambiguity in the term "lame" to compare two completely different things, one a premature celebration, the other a failed season. In doing so she used a very basic rhetorical trick to avoid answering a very specific argument, and you were just dense enough to get fooled by it.

So I think you sticking up for her is lame. Although not as lame as the Cowboys 2002 season or the Taliban, both of which are lamer.
