Re: Santana Moss Excited About Kyle and Mike
You are ruffling my feathers! Zorn lied, he said he could win with JC and then he commenced to marginalizing JC. Zorn coached using the connect the dot method. Portis is right he figured himself a "genius".
Zorn had an inflated sense of what he could accomplish. True. That doesn't make him a liar. As for saying he could win with JC, he probably believed that, the problem was he couldn't win, period.
The west coast offense is nothing new. Zorn stayed for the money even though it was obvious he had his authority taken away.
Again, he was under contract and Vinny was clearly trying to force him out, I fail to see where his actions were anything less than admirable for the situation he was in.
I blame Zorn as much as Vinny, where are your principles? Zorn's character = Wimpy from Popeye. Shameless, standing on the sideline doing the freaking robot out of all dances. Pretending to be a head coach.
I do blame Zorn, as an inept coach just not as a man of bad character, VC on the other hand seemed to act impetuously and vindictively, in light of that Zorn held his head high in that circumstance. why not have a cracker and look forward. (oh yeah you didn't want Shanahan either, I guess in two years you will be saying I told you so on that one too.) |

Well unless you are a slacker, cough, Portis, cough |

I think you are underestimating Portis' competitive streak. He slacked because Gibbs and Zorn (possibly because of Vinny and Snyder's input) let him slack. When Portis has been in competitive situations and has been held to higher standards, he has shined. You don't punish the dog when it eats food you left on the floor. |
Re: Santana Moss Excited About Kyle and Mike
So far i am wrong on Shannahan!!! 100% wrong. But the immoral Jim Zorn, indefensible egomaniac. I was 100% right.
Well, just remember where we were less than two years ago
"I'm having the most fun I've ever had," said Cooley to Campbell on the sidelines the other day - even though he had only 1 catch in the Cowboys game thus far. At halftime, Zorn told the team, "We still have a lot more to show and I got a lot more plays to call." As Portis says, "People are excited... and he's (Zorn) giving us opportunities to make plays." "I just love the way he's calling the plays" Campbell said as he described how Zorn was using lots of different players early in the game. ESPN 980 - Home of the Redskins
Do you see a pattern here? |
Re: Santana Moss Excited About Kyle and Mike
One more thing, I am wrong because Shanny and son got rid of Ladell "I left the football in El Segundo" Bettis. Not considered dead weight by all the homphobes hating Portis. I wanted Betts to start too, for the Cowboys, (Ottawa Cowboys).

You know the worst part of this post, is the 100% part. Nothing is that cut and dry. I wasn't in favor of Shanahan, for various reasons, but so far he seems good, hard to say 100% without even having coached one game as a Redskin. Likewise, your 100% on Zorn clearly is shaded by some sort of hate outside of what the man did during his Redskin tenure. I don't get it, you may have a portion of correctness, but your statements are nowhere near 100% accurate, regardless of how many times the parrot squawks. |

It ain't that serious. I don't know Jim Zorn outside of swinging gates. Immoral I tell ya immoral!!!! QB drills with cushions. Randel El returning punts. Mike Sellers fumbling the Cincy touchdown while Portis is on the bench. Losing to the Detroit Lions. Throwing it to Largeant every play. I blame Zorn for all the rain in Seattle. |

Re: Santana Moss Excited About Kyle and Mike
The organization just hit skid row with Cerrato and Zorn "ruining" the show. Hopefully, some of the malcontents like Portis and Moss do a 180 and resurrect their careers this year.

Re: Santana Moss Excited About Kyle and Mike
Basically, we were playing a trading card game with our hands revealed while the opponents didn't have their hand revealed since 2008. Unless you're deck is totally stacked and the opponents' deck totally sucks, you're going to lose much more often than not.
And Cerrato was nutty enough not to give a crap about O-linemen. |
