I really don't care about AH and his trainer. I mean who really cares? Just show up at training camp ready to ball. How you get in shape is really on him. These videos don't mean dick.

My only issue with this is that tripp, Haynesworth's trainer came to Albert to train him in Tenn. Why couldn't he do the same here in Washington and have Tripp work with our trainers to show them he doing and intergrate some things that our staff suggest into Albert's workout.

I doubt the team would go for that. Players tend to either work out on their own, or with the team. Bringing in a personal trainer to work with team trainers would probably only create a conflict of interest and serve as a distraction.

I would just be content if the people who started the trade talk would fess-up and reveal who within the organization said we were going to trade Albert from the beginning. If the trade rumors were actually true, that information had to come from someone...Who is that someone? The HC & GM have continued to emphatically deny, it obviously comes down to who you choose to believe.

This morning I tuned in to ESPN980 to hear their post draft coverage. Instead I got Kevin Sheehan and Andy Pollin bitching and whining about Haynesworth. I swear, I am done with those guys. It's like, get the f'ck over it already. How 'bout you actually talk about the draft and the players we got? I can understand fans bitching about something they don't know much about, but sheesh, it's just getting very tired to hear the same shit over and over again.

Me personally, most of us have to be at work Mon. through Fri. around 50 weeks a yr. Not counting sick days, holidays, and only counting for 2 weeks vacation. Most of us make a lot less then Haynesworth or any other NFL player. I see no problem with teams expecting their players to be at the facility just as much as any given employee. So I kinda get upset when players get their feathers ruffled about having to be at the facility. I don't think they actually know how good their life is.

Having said that, as of right now they are not required by the NFL to be at their facilities. It's not called "Voluntary" work outs for nothing. Lets move on from this story. AH shows up fat and slow the team will have issues, he shows up in decent shape and only has to learn the scheme, then I'm ok with it.

The first paragraph comes off as a jealously laced diatribe. The clubs agreed to those rules. Don't like it, "tough", I'm sorry to say there's really nothing you can do short of starting some sort of national NFL boycott. Good luck.

Where has it ever been said that his feathers have been ruffled? It seems to me that the only ruffled feathers are found on all these drama queen fans who are out for blood.

He is fulfilling his commitments and he has said from the beginning that all he wants to be is the best. If him training with his personal trainer gets him there, then Godspeed, Big Al.

Haynesworth seemed to be doing well in Tennessee. I don't get how asking to be played in a position where you could be of better use to the team is considered being a spoiled brat (yet still say that you are willing to do whatever the coaching staff). Stop buying the drama crap that the media is feeding people regarding this situation.

Guess what, Jim Schwartz LET HIM freelance and the Titans reaped the substantial benefits of that freelancing by having one of the most dominating defenses out of the 32 teams in the league in 2008. Football is not a 19th century textile factory in which you could easily replace a sewing machine operator with another worker and not give a shit about your employees. You use your players in an OPTIMAL manner, not in a satisficing manner, and if Shanahan WILL NOT ALLOW any sort of FEEDBACK from his players, then he needs his own ego check.

Well said man... He is the best defensive tackle in the NFL. He's training to remain the best defensive tackle in the NFL. He's a natural defensive tackle. We traded for him because of his ability to play defensive tackle.

To tell him to play any other (position) at this point in the off season with the ability to acquire somebody else to fill (said position) to me seems like a power trip by FO. A less than lateral move for the team and a possible career killer for AH. Unless of coarse AH does not mind...

Im not buying the media hype on this one!

Who does like all of those things? I mean, really? But like all reasonable people, Haynesworth has also said that he will do what is asked of him because that's his job. People gloss over that fact, though.

and why do you think I started off by saying "me personally?" I know the clubs agreed to the rules. Thats why I said "it's voluntary." I think what I'm seeing perhaps only out of the Skins is they would like to have their players at the facility all yr around unless they are on vacation. The problem is no one can make the players stay.

I'm kinda a rules guy. If the speed limit is 55 mph, you ask people to do 45 mph but legally they can do 55. Just like this situation, you can ask them to stick around but legally they don't have to.

I'm pointing out that I would like to see them be around more often especially since they make so much money, but no one can get mad cause technically they don't have to be here. I just don't understand all the "Hanesworth is problem" comments. He came last yr and did his job. He took on double teams for the season. Allowing others to get more sacks. Thats why we brought him in.

If the owners don't like the fact that the players don't want to be around for voluntary work outs then change the damn rules or have it put in their contracts.

well it had to be better than tony konrheiser this morning. i kid you not. turn on his show and they are talking about how one of his co-hosts (kim) son is going to do their draft recap and analysis. the kid is 5 years old. she goes on saying how all he does in analyze football, that he predicted bradford to the rams and that tebow is his favorit player and that he knew tebow was changing his throwing motion. anyways, kim the mom, cant blame her, does the typical "oh my son is soo smart, he even knows who sam bradford is!" yada yada.

then tonly goes on to say the skins did well by trading campbell for a 5th round pick next year. tony k was zero interest following sports anymore, the man thinks hes hollywood now.

every day i give the man a chance, every time without fail i have to change the dial within a minute.

Whatever side we choose to take, this story isn't dying anytime soon. I don't care how Bruce Allen and Shanny spin it and deny they aren't interested in trading Haynesworth. For what it's worth, I can tell you now people here in D.C. don't like the guy. Maybe not all, but all the ones I talk to.

The only thing(s) that could possibly help the Skins put all of his behind them is a monster season by Haynesworth and a playoff berth.

yup i think the "winning cures all" mantra could hold true for our AH situation. we start winning, hopefuly the focus will be on the skins as a team and not individual players.
