No... I don't recall MS saying that. I think he said T.O. was not in their plans right now. that was way back during the first OTA/mini camp.

I hope I'm wrong and the coach's are satisfied with our WR's but I just don't get that feeling with all the comments and supposedly looking around at other WR's.

I would like to think if they are even going to do it they should do it as soon as possible so T.O. could learn the play book. Instead they will wait until late Aug. and he'll have one heck of a learning curve.

It's ironic that they ban people for quoting pictures. However I guess they decided that in choosing between adding more bandwidth, banning sigs, or banning picture quotes they felt that the banning of pictures quotes to be the best COA.

What are you trying to say Malcolm? Are you telling me you post at *gasp* ES? The rule is look don't touch. You should be like a sports fan that hates hockey and racing but then goes on to say "I just watch it for the fights" or "I just watch it for the crashes." Of course some of their rules make sense over there so the fights have become farther and farther between. Personally I miss the days when I would go over there and see at least 4 or 5 poorly constructed threads about the same topic and the resulting flame wars that would usually ensue. Made the Redskins loosing a little less painful on Sundays. Plus they sometimes post funny tags to their threads, especially on the ones that shouldn't exist.

When I joined ES in 2006 it wasn't so bad, but then again I hear most of the people who ran the board then are now over here, that true?

I got banned for quoting pics in the post your pic thread in the tailgate... was supposed to be a week... they didn't answer emails so a few months later I made an account and pm'd mark the Homer for clarification stating who I was and how I understood the ban just not the length.. they perma'd me for that

I also told them how to fix many of the site issues including search and they were ungrateful and rude about it including the very non-technical ones

yeah it's no prob to have t&a in sigs but you can't post pg13 pics in the funny pics thread.. Google the singing shark to see what got me a month ban though there was wet white cloth cameltoe in the same thread

oh I forgot another the time that I got sig removed for my click for cans sig that was smaller than the limit.. finally got a response and was told that it LOOKED too big.. they somehow miss the huge ones though

I'm not trying to defend them, but I too have quoted pictures that others have posted and not been banned. I was, as they do here, to check out a specific rule/law for the board and to follow it. I stopped quoting pictures and they didn't ban me.

T.O has been on the decline and still has a case of the dropsies. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if he's a midseason pickup since our WR corps is bad.

And T.O always keeps his mouth shut his first year. Then again, it would be difficult to burn the bridges with McNabb again. Then again, he could clash with Shanahan.

It's funny how once a person becomes a mod over there they change or at least it seems. Mark was a pretty good guy, but it seemed like he got all power hungry or something. Still better than most IMO. I'm sure they are all cool guys in person, but they should be cutting some slack to the long term members.

I think the fact that the Skins are trying to get Jackson confirms that the FO already considers them washes. Kelly should have been like a Dez Bryant type, in that, I mean he was supposed to be a lock as being NFL caliber. As for Thomas, very few Spartans in the last 20 years have been worth a damn in the NFL. The Wolverines get the pick of the litter in terms of MI HS football talent, with the rest going to OSU, PSU, or if they are really highly touted to someplace warm. MSU gets the second hand players, a lot from the Detroit PSL, which has gone down in talent level considerably since the 80's. If Kelly doesn't get his act together he indeed will be a bust. To me, Thomas was just a gamble on our part.

What and where are you getting this three way "deal" information? I read that rumor one time weeks ago, unless there is something else to that it was just another rumor with ZERO footing. Do you have some update?

As Al is nothing more than a royal pain in the ass, if he will comply (Grow up be a man and stop crying like a little girl) we are a better Defense with him on the field playing ball.

I think our WR core and our DB's in that order are my primary concern going into this 2010 season.

Agreed, him in the defense we should be better than without. The only I could see us being without him is if the guys over there gell together very well as a unit. Fighting for the man beside him. With AH you never know how the team will react if he complains on the sidelines.

I am almost more worried about the CB position, as we do have bonifed starters as CB1 and CB2, but we are very lite with expierience. Buchanan may work as a third, but I would hate to see him start. So we need to be real lucky with injuries on the CB side. Behind PB we have not much of anything. A couple of 2nd and 3rd year guys who haven't preformed very well.

With the WR position I think there is enough there as we stand today to be able to get through the season and be able to contribute nicely in the passing game. They may not be lights out or they may be with Donovan as the QB. With Jason they would perform about the same as they have in the last few years.

D-Man throws a hell of a deep ball. Our guys should make some big plays. Devin, Santana, and some body ( whether it be a rookie or one of the vets with speed ) will be able to get deep a few times a piece.

McNabb does throw good down field as well as short check downs, so that should bode well for CP, Johnson and Sellers. We have a great TE in Cooley which could be our #1 threat, and Fred could be a big help as well if we don't upgrade OR have one of the kids step up.

Malcolm and Devin (The big kids with wheels) have to take a huge step this year and prove there worth in their 3rd season, Tana would be good in the slot as well as a Furrey or maybe Armstrong? Second tier old man depth Galloway or Roydell maybe Wade all #4 or depth Wideouts best case IMO.

After that not worth even a mention, Austin, Hodge, Banks (Worth one hit, then dead, weighting in at 150 lbs soaking wet). Hagans just got dropped. Who or how many did I miss...?

It would be nice to send 5 or 6 of these guys packing and get one true #1, something we have not had in some time.

Jackson would be a major upgrade if he were on the market and the FO could do the deal at the right price.

The Kid we drafted from UCLA was woefully small and not what we need. We need some 6'4" mofos at WR to get the job done. IF you could land TO "cheap", I am all for it, but otherwise look the other way. 99.5% chance we don't get TO though.

Definitely. I mean he always had the tone of a veteran stepping in before he was a mod but since he couldn't do anything about it it didn't bother me. He's just become a know it all pompous douchebag now. Shame cuz he seems like a pretty cool blue collar guy that would be fun to hang around. You'd think with a close community with the tailgating he wouldn't be so internet pompous but oh well.

The 3 way deal is just my opinion on how i think that is the best way to get rid of AH. Hey i agree AH does make us a better defense on the field ( when he ever gets on the field), he makes us a worse team in the locker room. I think we have to find a way to get rid of that head case and then worry about our WR'S, again just my opinion.

T.O. was interviewed on a local (Houston) radio station this morning for a good 15 minutes or so and he sounds really together and well mentally. At least he [B]sounds[/B] that way. I guess I have never really listened to him for that long, but he seems mature and well for a guy that has a little history of acting out or instability.
Maybe he has matured a bit over time.
I am becoming more interested in him as a possible Redskin, at least I am warming to the idea.

I would much rather have TO on a 1 year, vet minimum deal than pay a price to get Vincent Jackson.

Ideally, if we land T.O., we might see a Randy Moss in NE type of situation. Good WR plays for a bad team and QB, is considered washed up, goes to a good team and much better QB and has a career resurgence.

Problem is, Moss was 31 at the time of the switch, TO is 36, so...
