That is true on the first part. However Irvin went in in 2007 after last playing in 1999. Green played last in 2002 and was inducted in 2008.

And folks can always sling mud about players from 10 years ago, like Irvin. But he STILL is in the Hall of Fame, and he was elected there in a shorter time than Art Monk or Daryl Green.

that doesn't make it right, though. Regardless, he's still a douche. As far as Monk goes, he still had the longest standing ovation in hall induction history. the fans know the truth.
