Regarding an earlier post by Buster, I think Jags have by far the best helmets in the league. Love their colors.

Jags helmets are great.

Uniforms are a mess, the piping or number positioning is not even consistent. I saw different players with different-looking jerseys, but that's more of a manufacturing problem than a design flaw I guess.

I loved the flat black helmets as well. Incidentally flat black is the latest “old school” trend in hot rods now a days; perhaps they were influenced by that?

Our uniforms aren't ugly or the ugliest....anyone that thinks that hasn't obviously seen the Cowboys uniform.


We have by far the best logo in the NFL and my two favorit Skins uniforms are the [URL="http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/nfl/features/2002/preview/redskins/redskins_lg.jpg"]1960's[/URL] and [URL="http://monkeyinmymind.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/redskins-throwback-uniforms-vs-giants2.jpg"]1970's[/URL] uniforms.

I give you thumbs up for innovation, but the style is defintely throwback with a cartoonish edge to it. It looks too Arena Football League to me. Our uniforms are very sharp and unique. If it ain't broke don't fix it!!!!!! Change for changes sake isn't logical all the time, and not needed. Look at the all time winningest CFB programs like Michigan, Penn State, Alabama, and Oklahoma. THey haven't changed a damn thing for ages, if at all, with the exception of the headgear.

however in european models it's huge, especially the high dollar benzes

I HATE HATE HATE when teams change their jerseys. Denver and Tampa Bay come to mind, seems like so many jerseys are starting to blend in. I'm probably just biased on the jerseys i grew up watching, and yes i realize every team has changed their jerseys multiple times before i was even born.

On topic i really like our jersey, classy and oldschool imo.

I agree, those throwbacks look so good! I can't think of a team that has a better throwback.

Why don't we use those more often? Teams are always tossing their throwbacks on, why not us?

They can keep the logo, and keep the uni design, however I would prefer the team use a more metal color gold vs. the yellow we have been using. Looking around I like the Florida State or Boston gold. I think we would look much better in that.

If we are wearing black Sun night is it to rub it in on Zorny? lol. Red, Black, and Yellow. lol.

I could see us wearing Black Jersey's with burgundy numbers and gold trim with Burgandy pants. The pants could have a gold stripe down the side. The names also in burgundy with gold trim. The Raven's black on black uniforms are so sweet. Im down with the Redskins going black uniforms. We need a new attitude which brings more swagg.

The Rams did that after they won the Super Bowl. They switched to a more metallic gold.

I agree with you. If we did a change it would have to be a subtle change like that. It looks more distinguished and would have a universal appeal to the majority of our fans.

I think with all the changes to our team, why not come out in the first game with a uni change. Not for the entire season, just that a little edge couldnt hurt. I like the black idea, and whoever came up with that logo is very talented. Should email that to the organization somehow.
