what a train wreck. license is expired since 04 and he has no tags? not sure about him punching her, if he did punch this girl she'd have more than just scratches. i just don't understand people like him.

even with romo cowboys are done. not only do they play stupid but their secondary is really bad. i see a total house cleaning coming after the season.

Yeah that is position to be awesome next year. This will ensure they have a nice pick next year and a new coach. this a good team that is "lost" but the right coach could easily turn this whole thing around and very quickly.

Look at the Ravens, they had that one bad year like 3 seasons ago it got them Flacco and a new head coach probably one of the best teams i nthe league right now.

BUT for the time being I will enjoy this miserable season the Cowpukes have put together.

I never root for injury, but I won't exactly be sending him a sympathy card.

Ok, so we play the Cowboys in 8 wks. You guys think he'll be ready to play?

Is Kitna really that good anymore that any team would keep him on a roster? He seriously look bloated to me..... kinda like the older Elvis. I saw him run out and immediatly thought oh here comes the ex Giants backup QB who was always looking over weight. lol. Then I found out it was Kitna.

MTK 10-26-2010 09:15 AM

Re: Romo Broken Clavical

He won't be ready for a minimum of 6 weeks, and even that might be pushing it. Barring some sort of miracle turnaround I don't see why they would even bother pushing him to come back this season.

Loved this quote from that thread:

Even though that's one of the biggest if's in a long time. IF that happened I might not watch football anymore. Because I would've experienced what I was always told it was like to use coke, crack, heroin, LSD, all that shit the D.A.R.E. people told me because I would NEVER be able to top that as a fan.

That would be crazy. I would never guess in a million years that a Snyder-owned team would even get to the championship game, but i would love to see the look on Jerry's face.

Even with Romo the cows weren't doing anything this year. Too many primadonnas and Wade Phillips is not the coach that is going to take you anywhere in the playoffs.
Eagles are beatable, since we already have done it one. The Gmen are solid on both sides of the ball. If we can harass Eli, then we have a decent chance at splitting with them. This loss and the loss of Romo might signal the terminal decline of the Cowboys for the next 2-3 seasons. They have to replace that aging line, and other guys like Witten are not getting any younger. Bryant had the nice return, but as a WR he hasn't shown me he is anything special.
I was with you on everything until you started talking about Dez Bryant. He hasn't shown you anything special at WR? What are you lookin' for? Besides Tana, he's a better WR than anything else that we have at that spot by miles.

Re: Romo Broken Clavical

For this year at least, we can be less concerned about the Cowboys than ever before. Where the Redskins are concerned and their prospects for winning the NFC east, I'm more concerned with the team that beat the Cowboys last night than I am the idea of the Cowboys being in last place at 1-5 with little hope for a playoff berth.

What little hope they did have has now been dashed with the injury to Romo. The show must go on.

The only problem with this is that Jerry and Snyder are friends so would Jerry really be that upset that his friend won the SB when he knew his team was toast in November?

Re: Romo Broken Clavical

Now watch Kitna come in and outperform Romo. Tony can be careless and not learn from mistakes. He's a feast or famine-type QB.

Kitna had actually performed very well earlier in his career despite being on horrible teams like Detroit and Cincinnati. He never had much to work with and still put up respectable numbers.

With that said...he won't have much to work with in Dallas either. The lack of an O-line will get him killed. Who is their #3 QB? We'll probably see him on the field.

We should place bets on when Dez becomes the new Owens/Irvin/Keyshawn in the locker room, shooting off his mouth and causing a team division. :food-smil

Re: Romo Broken Clavical

All of this started in preaseason. The Cowtards only played well one game this season and that was the one game they won. Their O-line problems have been on display and obvious since the first snap of preseason; EVERYTHING that's happened to them was foreboded before the regular season started. The only reason they got so much hype and that word "talent" was thrown around so much to cover for their deficiencies is because the sports media loves to dangle off their scrotum. I couldn't believe last night that they were still the favored team of the analysts when Big Blue is on an impressive streak and Dallas had shown nothing, nothing at all, that would indicate they were better on paper than NY. The sports media almost certainly thought it was a given that the Cowtards, because of their "talent" and "weapons", would take the NFC East, and for the drama angle alone had a stake in seeing Dallas host the Superbowl.

And so the endless Cowtard taint-licking went on and on, when it was clear from the very beginning that they were one of the most overrated teams in the NFL because of the deficiencies that were being iced over. Their regular season is a mirror image of preseason; none of this should be surprising.

It was only a matter of time before Romo got killed behind that line, especially considering how much he likes to hotdog it and make something happen. Kitna is going to get pushed around behind it, too. That line is every bit as bad as our line was last season, and suffering from all the same intangibles that ours was, as well.

Oh well. Too bad so sad. No Superbowl for you, come back one year!

I doubt it would burn JJ. He hoisted 3 trophys in just a couple of years during his tenure as owner, while Danny hasn't even sniffed ONE after 10 years of ownership. I think he'd a little happy for the young fella.

They are very hyped, but as much as I hate to admit it, the Giants are the first team I've seen beat them soundly this year without them shooting themselves with penalties. Their O-line ain't great but it wasn't their fault Romo got hurt, it was the FB #44 that missed his assignment. The Giants D scares me because our line is a little worse than the Cowboys.

Why wouldn't he, these guys are buddies. Besides, he's hosting a SB in HIS stadium. How many owners have been lobbying to get that game played in theirs? With all the dough put in his pocket and world-wide media in his house... please. You think Snyder would trip because of the teams playing a SB in our stadium?

Sure he would be happy for him, but you can't tell me a part of him wouldn't be ticked it wasn't him winning the SB in front of his home crowd in his fancy new stadium. Instead it's his biggest division rival? Sure, no burn there.

Our O-line IS a little worse than Dallas', but we are more disciplined and are playing with more heart this year than them, and those things matter.

I don't think Big Blue runs up the score and blows us out like they were on their way to doing to Dallas before they started playing sloppy again. Our O-line from last year that would have wilted under this D they're putting up won't do it now.

I honestly couldn't say the Giants wouldn't have run up the score on us. If Mc5 got hurt there's no way we score on Off. last night, because we can barely score with him healthy.

Mental steroids do not exist. I'm sick and tired of people expecting Lich, Rabach, and Hicks to be immovable 30000 ton cinder blocks because of "mental preparedness" when they are PHYSICALLY OUTMATCHED.

Don't have technique and strength down as an O-lineman? You're f'ed no matter how much "heart" you have.
