You know which stickers are extra stupid? The ones that show Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes peeing on something. There are a million versions, all so cheesy.
Ugh those are horrible. What a disgrace to a great comic.

Re: F...26.2 Stickers

As a child I didn't want my parents to put the honor roll bumper sticker on their cars. Even at that young age I realized it was kind of a jerk move to bring notice to that. If you are really a smart kid, why does everyone need to be told that? They should already know it.

some people have self esteem issues.

To me a 26.2 sticker just signifies they run marathons. I don't take it as boasting.

When I see a bloodydecks.com sticker, I don't immediately think they are better than me because they caught a tuna.

It's a shame you guys can make this much noise over something that counts. Politics. We might would actually get something accomplished. I personally don't care who has what on their car. You should be concentrating on the road and not what somebody has on their car. :)

Ah, well that's where you are wrong. The more involved I get in politics debate the more arguments arise with limited conclusions. It is simple here. 26.2 stickers are super douchey. 13.1 are pretty bad too. The real poll question is which one is worst? Reminds me of a Facebook question I recently put on my profile. What kind of people are the worst, people who wear Ed Hardy tee shirts or people that wear Tapout tee shirts?

Also passing judgment based on bumper stickers is more entertaining than talking politics. My ivory tower is mad comfortable. Have some space up here for those that care to join.
Here is why you hate them and why I hate them as well. IT means who ever the man in the hosue is has no balls to tell his wife that is stupiedst thing you could possible put on your car becasue you know no guy pussy or not would actually want those on his car.
True. If my wife got one of those, I'd have to scrape it off before driving it. Thankfully, she hates them too.

Another offender, those giant softball and soccer ball magnets. I find most soccer fans to be jerks, always pushing their "game" and insisting that we should all embrace soccer. They accuse us of not "understanding the nuances of the game" and even make anti-American comments while living here themselves. No...I played soccer as a kid and was quite good. I just can't watch a game and stay awake. It's a fine game for kids. My son will be playing next year most likely at age 4. However, as an adult, if my kid is not playing I can't stand to watch a 0-0 barnburner after 90 minutes of play. It's not like a good hockey game or defensive struggle in REAL football, the field is far too big and most of the time in a soccer game is spent kicking the ball long onto the other end of the field...the players run to get it or the goalie ROLLS the ball to a teammate. Then they kick the ball to the other end of the field and all run to that end. Very few shots on goal and even fewer that have a chance of going in the net. Yawn. I get the game. It's just lame. Don't be so defensive about it.

I have a co-worker who has several soccer flags hanging up (3' x 5') and even wears soccer jerseys to work sometimes...how professional. Like I said...always advertising. She was "shocked" that I told her I wasn't watching the World Cup when she asked who I wanted to win. If I were to watch, I'd root for our team...not Spain like her. No national pride...

Also, it seems that one of every three Pennsylvanians have not only visited the Outer Banks, NC, but bought the SAME sticker! (OBX)

That reminds me of something I see occasionally...guys driving cars with something like this on it:

HA! So true. My wife and I promised this summer we would watch all the Twilights and Harry Potters just so we could see what the hype was all about. I have to say the Twilight series was just as bad as you would imagine. I tried so hard to be objective and it was just the whiniest load of garbage I've ever seen. The main girl needs to learn to freaking smile every once in a while.

I have to say the Harry Potter series is becoming a guilty pleasure. We started from the beginning and each has just gotten better.

Yeah I was thinking about doing that, apparently the get good during Prisoner of Azabic or whatever it is called. I think I have the first 3 on DVD and once the Stanley Cup is over I won't ahve much to watch any who.

The Harry Potter movies are very good, and I was very surprised when my wife dragged me kicking and screaming to the couch to watch the first one. I've seen them all, and they do get better as the kids get older. However, I outright refuse to touch any of the Twilight movies.

@Buster - Are you talking about these?

And while soccer isn't my favorite thing to watch, it has its excitement, and I like the fact that it's over and done with at around 2 hours. But to each their own.

You're right. Mickey/Minnie Mouse shirts are also VERY popular with the fat redneck women around here. You're right, doesn't matter how huge the woman is, the shirt is still always 3 sizes too large.

The others I agree, but what's wrong with a sticker of their favorite driver? How's that different than a Redskins sticker, except that the sponsor might change in a couple of years.

I know a guy a a Dale Earnhardt '3' tattoo, which is far different than a bumper sticker. :D

You can do it in 8 without training easily. That's light jogging (15 min/mile) mixed in with walking.

I hope this doesnt ruin anyones weekend but I saw a circular bumper sticker with "13.1" this morning. Your basically saying I can walk really far.

I posted this in the runners thread, meant to post it here.

As a present I am going to replace my post in the runners thread with the youtube video of this female marathon runner shatting herself in glorious fashion as she finishes an olympic marathon.
