Help me out here
Wayne, Brandon Marshall, Welker, Jahvid Best Pick 3, Sit 1 |
Re: 2011 Fantasy Football Thread
So I have Dallas Clark (No Peyton throwing to him)
Jimmy Graham (Going against the Packers) Jason Witten (playing the Jets) Who do I play? |
Re: 2011 Fantasy Football Thread
Witten i think would be the best
|
Re: 2011 Fantasy Football Thread
I've got flex player issues this week in both of my leagues. I have Ryan Grant in both leagues... And Mike Tolbert in one and Fred Jackson in the other. Who would be your flex player in each league? I'm leaning towards Grant over Tolbert and Jackson over Grant.

Wayne, Brandon Marshall, Welker, Jahvid Best Pick 3, Sit 1
I'd be sitting Wayne cuz I think that offense without Manning is FUBAR |

Jimmy Graham (Going against the Packers) Jason Witten (playing the Jets) Who do I play?
You can't go wrong with Graham or Witten. I just can't see Clark giving you the same production with Collins at the helm. My preference would be Graham, since I'm sure that Jets pass rush will harass Dallas' young o-line. |

Jimmy Graham (Going against the Packers) Jason Witten (playing the Jets) Who do I play?
Witten. He will have an advantage while Cowboys recievers will have their hands full from coverage up top. Look for Romo to check down underneath and over the middle a ton. |
Re: 2011 Fantasy Football Thread

Wayne, Brandon Marshall, Welker, Jahvid Best Pick 3, Sit 1
Skip Wayne, last 3 |

Fred Jackson over Grant for sure in the second league. Dude Id lean Tolbert over Grant. Minnesota is without there run stuffer DT Williams to start the season with his suspension and they generally stink on D the last couple years. San Diego at home. Tolbert is going to get the opportunity on goalline for sure this weekend. I just dont like Grant this weekend against NO defense. Its still up in the air between Grant/Starks who will get the bulk of the carries. I have Grant sitting on my bench in several leagues waiting to see who emerges for Green Bay. If its Starks, im gonna drop Grant immediately...should know after the second game of the year. |
Re: 2011 Fantasy Football Thread

Re: 2011 Fantasy Football Thread
Who do you guys think I should start as my flex this week?
Braylon Edwards against Seattle or Mark Ingram against GB |

Re: 2011 Fantasy Football Thread
Who do you guys think I should start as my flex this week?
Braylon Edwards against Seattle or Mark Ingram against GB
I'd be starting Edwards cuz GB's D is pretty good against the run and Ingram is currently 3rd on the Saints depth chart. |

3rd really? wow didnt know that. So you take an RB with you first round pick and put him 3rd on the depth chart? That doesnt sound right |

I think he maybe listed as third but they are definitely a 3 head monster at RB in NO. Thomas, Sporles and Ingram could see equal amount of carries. |
So I have Dallas Clark (No Peyton throwing to him)
Jimmy Graham (Going against the Packers) Jason Witten (playing the Jets) Who do I play?
I really like Graham. He looked awesome in New Orleans 3rd pre season game. With that height he's going to be a monster in the red zone. |
Re: 2011 Fantasy Football Thread
Who do you guys think I should start as my flex this week?
Braylon Edwards against Seattle or Mark Ingram against GB
that's a no brainer. who does edwards have throwing to him? go w/ ingram. |
Re: 2011 Fantasy Football Thread
So I have Blount against Det, Mendenhall against Balt and Hightower vs. the Giants. I'm leaning towrds Blount and Hightower.
|
Re: 2011 Fantasy Football Thread
Fellas, I need some advice on my flex for this week. Its a non-PPR league and my choices are BenJarvus Green-Ellis vs. Miami, or Jeremy Maclin vs. St. Louis. I'm leaning towards Green-Ellis. Thoughts?

I agree. Maclin might be a little rusty not having any training camp. Pats should score 28-35 against Miami. |

Id play Mendenhall for sure against Baltimore. Its a toss up against Blount and Hightower, but would probably roll a Blount. |
Re: 2011 Fantasy Football Thread
I have Felix Jones against Jets D or Roy Helu against Giants. What do you guys think? Or, I can flex Helu and de-activate Julio Jones, the thing about that is, the guy I'm playing this week is starting Matty Ice.
|
Re: 2011 Fantasy Football Thread
Moss or Harvin?
I am thinking Moss. |

Felix...you need to see the time split with Hightower/Helu/Torrain. Felix should get alot of opportunities. |

That was my thinking as well. Thanks. |
Re: 2011 Fantasy Football Thread
Moss or Harvin?
I am thinking Moss.
thats a close one, but Id role Harvin. He returns kicks, runs the balls and obviously catches the ball. Heard hes had a good camp and the headaches are better (ie Childress is gone)...I like Harvin to have a good year. |
Re: 2011 Fantasy Football Thread

Yeah it's tough to sit Mendenahall, regardless of match up. |
Re: 2011 Fantasy Football Thread
Moss or Harvin?
I am thinking Moss.
I have Moss too and I'm starting him. Giants secondary is hurting and Rex has good chemistry w/Moss. |
Re: 2011 Fantasy Football Thread
Should I go with Sproles, Ryan Matthews, or Reggie Bush.
My other starting RB is Hightower. |
Should I go with Sproles, Ryan Matthews, or Reggie Bush.

TE Visanthe Shiancoe/Vikings or Brandon Pettigrew/Lions |
Re: 2011 Fantasy Football Thread
Pettigrew, Shiancoe to me is a backup TE at this point. He's been out since early August and is only now getting back.
|
Re: 2011 Fantasy Football Thread
I agree, Pettigrew.
|
Re: 2011 Fantasy Football Thread
Well I didn't head your guys advice and benched Ingram in hopes that Ben Tate is gonna get extended playing time.

He's still taking time picking up blitzes like most rookie rbs and a blitzing team like green bay is a team I know I wouldn't risk my franchise qb right out the gates against with a rookie rb picking up the blitzes from players like Woodson & Matthews. I think by midseason baring injury he'll probably be the starter, but not right off the bat especially with a shorter offseason to work on said blitz pickup. He only got 40 yards rushing tonight which is probably about 4-6 pts. |
