Hmm, maybe Tubby is paying dividends for them. Their O has been elite for quite a while.

That's why I picked Houston to go to the AFC champ game in the bold predictions thread. The NFL is a coordinator's league. And say what you want about Dough Boy as a HC, he can put together a fine defense.

Strange to say, but with the beatdown being handed down by the Texans, is Manning underrated?

The Rams just sack-stripped Vick. If I was a betting man, I'd put money on Vick getting hurt by week 5.

Re: Around the NFL week 1

hahaha...a jail break rush on Vick. Sack and the fumble recovery.

WTF is S. Jackson doing on the sidelines?

Probably hurt? Not good for the Rams.

Ravens are making the Steelers look bad on both sides of the ball.

SirClintonPortis 09-11-2011 02:22 PM

Re: Around the NFL week 1

It seems like the Texans are simply bullrushing the Colts O-line.
Also, the Texans seem to use a lot 4-3 fronts.

And Jacoby Jones just returned a punt for a touchdown.

Jacoby Jones became the Texans franchise record holder for special teams touchdowns.

Wow, the Iggles are one Vick injury away from Kafka time (VY out with a hammy).

Ray Rice having a huge day...which is great for me fantasy wise hahahahahahahahahaha

The Colts better take a knee, because the Texans are out for blood.

ya, i think the texans are going to keep throwing the ball just because they can, lolo

Looks like somebody forgot to tell the Bills that they were supposed to be bad. They putting a shellacking on KC right now. Smoots surprise team pick coming through for him.

The colts had their amazing run, now it's over.. Manning at 36 years old with 3 major surgeries to his neck.. He won't be the same dominant player even if he does play again.

Me too. I took him 2nd overall in one of my leagues. 120+ total yards and 2tds in the first half against the Steelers D? Thank you very much. This could be the year this Ravens team gets over the hump.

Careful, it might only be one year, and then it's Lucky time for Indy.

I've said that several times. After what we're seeing today, they really could be a 3 or 4 win team if Manning is out all year.

Damn you, Rapistberger. Sooo, there are routs in Baltimore and Houston today.

Philly's run defense is a joke...lol

Might want to put those Super Bowl plans on hold Andy.

If Ed Reed isn't the best safety in history, he's certainly the best one I've ever seen play.

Re: Around the NFL week 1

What the hell are the Titans doing? Sign CJ to a mega contract and he's only rushed the ball 4 times through 3 quarters and only down by 10? Mind boggling.

I have to say, regardless of the score, Philly doesn't look that good at all.

That was a pretty throw by Vick to Jackson.

Where's all that talent Philly supposedly stacked up on this offseason.

Agreed, if S. Jackson of the Rams didn't go out early, the game would be different.

Or if the Rams WRs would actually catch the ball.

Rams WR's need to catch the footlball.

Re: Around the NFL week 1

Man, so much for the Steelers for being a classy organization. They can't take the beating that the Ravens is handing it to them and they've been getting into scuffles the whole game. Ike Taylor just got a 15-yd PF penalty.
