Dallas 27 Skins 10 (w/a late mop up TD). Losing Hank is looking really disastrous in addition to others.

On the other hand, I wouldn't be too surprised if Shanny is able to really motivate the team & we manage to catch them sleepin. If our D really steps it up we have a chance cause their line has a hard time w/our front 7, but its more than likely that they'll be on the field too long though.
How can Shanny motivate the team if he hasn't already done that when we had a relatively healthy squad? The big thing we need to worry about is Shanny and co. losing the lockerroom, if they already haven't.

Re: Its Dallas Week

For everyone predicting a blowout, I don't concur. Dallas is afforded one blowout game every 5 years, and that was last week against the Bills.

Not only that, I cannot remember the last time the Cowboys "blew out" a division opponent. More like the opposite.

Whats that we always say? When these two teams meet, records go out the window and they play a slobber-knocker.

Re: Its Dallas Week
This rivalry is dead. Dallas 27 Skins 6
Too many other rivalries have sprung up recently that actually are dogfights for divisional crowns usually(NE-NYJ, Balt-Pitt, etc) for this game to mean anything anymore. From a TV land standpoint as the Skins TV market has been cut into thirds, the game isn't going to garner the viewership it once had either, especially since the Skins suck now and the Cowboys have til this season.

I agree with Sand I never count a Divisional game playing in the opponents house as a sure win or easy win no matter how bad the other team is playing heck there has been a lot of times when one team has been good and the other bad and they pull the W.

So yeah I don't expect a blowout I expect a close game no matter how bad your team looks or has been playing

Redskins signed TE Robert Myers to the PS. He was a former Colt.

Must be getting ready for when Davis is told he has to sit a game or two.

This one is going to be ugly. 1/2 of the stadium will be Cowboy fans and we will continue to struggle on both sides of the ball.

To D Hall's credit, he actually had pretty good coverage on that play, Romo just bought time & extended it. Even Bryant said it was pretty good coverage. DBs can only cover for so long.

Dont ever do this on this site, give DHall credit, he's the reason we are losing every game

Him and Reed Doughty, they are the downfall of this team. They were probably the reason Vinny failed. [/sarcasm]

IF we are to win this game, we have to see things we haven't seen most of the year - Defensive turnovers, Red zone scoring, and a lack of offensive turnovers. Even then we will have a rough game. Hard to call this game as a win given how inept our offense has played, but -

Skins 23
them 21.

good gano and good rex make the game bearable and winnable.

rypper11 11-16-2011 09:42 AM

Re: Its Dallas Week

The only way this is a win is if Offense runs the ball 40+ times no matter how boring it is. If so,
Skins 12
Boys 7

If Kyle goes pass happy,
Skins 9
Boys 28

We need to limit their offensive plays.

That's the reason I could never play FF. I just cannot pick another player over my team and your going as far to pick a player going against your team. Just don't get that. The only way I can figure that is if you feel that you win either way. Hey the skins lost but WOW Bez really racked up some points for me.

Me too. It really not that bad of a conflict of interest. I usually chose not to have Redskins on my team, cause ill get too pissed at the team.

Now i have a friend who will gamble and actually gamble agaisnt his team which I think is blasphemy. His rationale "If they win or lose, ill feel good either way" I think that is bullshit...i never feel good when the skins lose, meaning i feel bad alot

Re: Its Dallas Week

I wish DeMarco Murray would give me ZERO fantasy points for the two teams I have him on this weekend. If it happens, great. But since our team is so bad and he's been playing well recently, the reality is that he'll probably rack up a lot of yards and a TD. So, he gets the start.

I play fantasy football every year, its just a fantasy of mine for the Skins to be competetive and resemble a successful franchise. And i lose at it every year.

Yeah, I would obviously pick a skins win over a FF win. That being said, I have had Romo and Vick as QBs before without any shame.

Like Matty said they are mutually exclusive worlds.

They are drunk from their success. They'll be sitting back in a state of relaxation. That's when our undermanned soldiers do a sneak attack and slaughter them all.

Or so I hope.

I like torturing myself so I will be watching the game this Sunday w/ 2 Cowboys fans.

I have been watching the games by myself and I have got immune to the pain. Gotta step it up a notch.

However, if by some crazy way the Skins manage to win this game I will get to rub it in two faces.

I've been playing fantasy long enough that I can easily separate the two. Am I going to be openly rooting for Dez on Sunday? Hell no. But the fact of the matter is, he's probably going to get his during the game. Whenever a guy I have in fantasy goes off vs the Skins, I'm not overly happy about it. I just shrug my shoulders and say, "good start."

I typically havent owned too many Skins players in fantasy, because for the nearly 10 years I've been playing, there haven't been too many guys on our team worth it. There are those rare occasions when I have an opposing player going against the Skins in fantasy, dude goes off, but the Skins still win the game. It's rare, but is awesome when it does happen.
