I'm starting to second-guess having Louisville losing in the Final. Their defense was AMAZING. I know they were playing a nobody team, but it was impressive and fun to watch. 20 steals!

They were pressuring EVERY inbounds play after baskets. At one point they stole 3 consecutive inbounds passes and scored...and had another steal down the court in that sequence. I couldn't believe what I was seeing...DEFENSE!

They stomped Jesse Jackson's team. Loved that part.


The West bracket is going to kill me though...I had New Mexico going to the Elite 8 and they lost. I've lost 2 games in the West already and I have Gonzaga winning that bracket...and I've lost confidence in them after yesterday's showing.


Otherwise, doing fine...12-4.

I don't care about what it does to my bracket...I want to see [B]Florida Gulf Coast win it all[/B]. That team is so much fun to watch. When they were pouring it on down the stretch and not letting up on either end of the court last night against SDSU...I haven't really enjoyed a game that much, maybe ever. They're taking down the Gators next.

They can do it. They beat Miami this year and they destroyed VCU early in the year.



I'm missing two Final Four teams now, somehow still in 3rd-place.

I've never seen so much red in my life!

The Midwest has all green but one game for me and my Elite 8 teams are alive...but the other three regions are all red! Wow.

I have one of four Final 4 teams left...Louisville, who I picked to LOSE in the final game to Indiana.

I can't believe Indiana lost.

Anyone have Marquette and Wichita State picked to go this far? :D

A big ten team, two big east teams and a mid major. Sounds fitting considering those were the best conferences this year in basketball. Yes I know mid major isn't a conference but there's been many good ones this year (gonzaga, Vcu, St. Louis, butler, Creighton & Wichita state) you could consider it a conference or slot in the final four of its own.

Just glad Duke lost.
Pitino said after the game that that ware guys bone in his leg was sticking out 6 inches from his skin....uhhhhhh that's disgusting and very theismann-esque. It'll be a good final four.

Wow...that leg. I wonder how much blood spilled out..his leg was open. How long was the game delayed for anyone who saw it live?



edit: I had to see it so I found a working video. I won't embed it but here's the link. Just said a prayer for the kid too. It's serious but it's fixable as long as nerves weren't destroyed...hopefully it will give him a new appreciation and perspective in life that drives him to success in whatever he does. These sort of things tend to do that to a person.
